those nissan maxima's can ripp. I had a 2003 with the 3.5 with a twin turbo kit . it made 470hp to the front wheels. I had a blast with that car !
Just a fyi on the maxima. The vq35de fwd version can come out of a Murano, maxima, Infiniti SUVs, etc.
stroker kits for the Z's can also fit the fwd version since the block is basically the same.
You can build some solid and affordable sleepers especially when you consider how plentiful those engines are aka cheap af. There are a lot of those cars on the road and in junkyards

That 300ZX was super clean absolutely love those cars drove one when I was sixteen absolutely fell in love the first time I ever wrote in one I was like 8 and just for being a Japanese car that thing had so much power it was a blast particularly to an eight year old left a very Lasting Impression in my mind definitely want to pick one up someday
About the 02 maxima, The engine is from a newer maxima. Maximas have vq35 02-present- just sadly mated with a cvt after 2006. Believe it or not the vq35 was originally developed for the maxima aka transverse configuration

The s550 at 3:08 with the vortech...yea, those are quiet. They don't squeal like the procharger. There is the option for what Vortech calls, Heritage gears. Those will squeal. Also depending on the blow off valve, the hiss won't be too loud at all. Ran that setup on my '18 GT s550. Vortech JT V3. Made 723whp on pump 91 (no e85 any where around here in this joke of a country, Canada). Sold the kit off and the new owner now makes a little over 800whp at 11 psi. I currently am now big single turbo. Other than seeing the shiny intercooler and pipes (which I am contemplating on painting black to hide them a little), you wouldn't know it puts down 900whp on 93 (with meth) and 12 psi. Sounds like a stock s550 with a basic Borla catback. Totally quiet once warm and zero drone. But once you get into boost, right around the 4-5 psi, all hell breaks loose. Side note, I do have proper suspension, and know how to drive. It goes straight and true. No crowd killer here lol.

believe it or not drew, bags have come a crazy long way. I know a few high HP beemers here that have bags. My friends M4 has 800HP and bag dont have the specs i can get them but he hooks up pretty good and drives pretty damn straight on the street.

I’m an old head now but when I was young I was really into car audio. I wanted the best sounding and loudest system in my city. I couldn’t afford it all at once, so I built that system piece by piece, one component at a time. By the time it was all said and done I had 4 grand wrapped up in the audio system alone. It took me all of my junior and senior year of high school saving paychecks and birthday money to get it done, but by the end of it, I had a quality ass system that sounded amazing. Was it the loudest? Almost but not quite, it could hit 144.7 db with the windows cracked… 141 windows closed measured off the dash, there were other local cars hitting in the high 140’s and low 150’s at the time, but the sound quality was awesome because I built it right and didn’t just slap the biggest amp and the most subwoofers I could into it.
Moral of the story? People want instant gratification nowadays. They don’t want to build something piece by piece over years. That’s why they head to auto zone and buy as much cheap accessories as they can and call it a day…. Your impatience is not an excuse. If I could piece together a system in my teens making $5.15 an hour part time at a grocery store, then there is no excuse for anyone else.

The green RS is sick but i agree that it needs to flow better somehow because it looks kind of like he slapped some dirty/water spot covered carbon widebody on it
For that focus, I like the forged carbon not painted like it is but I think it would look hella better on a black car. Just my 2c. That Maxima was a clean grocery getter. Nothing wrong with it.

I think that box on the supra is a chiller. Probably running NOS or some fuel mixture. Unless it's a secondary engine/tranny coolant system

The Gen2 VQ35DE is in the later Nissan Maximas; still FWD.
Infiniti quit making the I-30/I-35 in 2003-2004ish; the ever popular G35 was its successor.

The air ride and high horsepower can go together. Nothing sketchy about that anymore. I remember years ago when air ride technologies (ride tech) was making the c10 kits, air over strut and they were becoming very capable road course and auto cross trucks.
