It’s not a carbon cage. It’s a wrap to prevent the powder coating from getting scratched. The picture shot of the a-pillar/windshield, you can see where the bars come together through the drivers window and see it

About that hellcat Drew, that dyno is a great result I'd say. The 707 HP from the Hellcat is crank and the 800 or whatever from the redeye is also crank. If a stock Hellcat Redeye dynos at 650 on a good day, a twin-charged Redeye hitting nearly 1100 is a great gain. Sure you could make the same power with bigger injectors, smaller pulley, and a tune, but, you're not twin-charged! Plus, it's probably on stock internals. But oH nO iT DoEsN't mAkE 1200. At crank, it has to be 1300 or so. I'm not even saying this as a Motard, I'm saying this as someone who respects a sick, well-engineered build no matter the power. It takes a different type of dude to ask a shop to twin-charge their Hellcat rather the standard pulley, headers, etc etc.
Any Hellcat that has a turbo in it is already a cooler and more unique build than 99% of all the other ones.

Im pretty sure he knows this, but when you hear that it's a twincharged massive V8, under 1100 is on the "lower" end of what it could make. It's still a shitton of power and more than i would ever be comfy driving, but i think its pretty fair to originally expect 1200 wheel atleast. But yeah it prob is on stock internals

I'd say that was a carbon-fiber wrap on a metal cage in that Mustang drag car. That GTR.... wow its on my bucket list too. Great vid! In that last car I think that box next to the fuel cell is a fuel chiller/cooler.

I got a New Edge 02 V6, I didn't buy it for power or speed, I just love the look of them and the gas change from my 9 mpg 02 Ram 1500 truck has been a blessing. Hate away y'all.

13:47 quick google search says that carbon fiber has 3x the tensile strength of steel and 4.5x less dense so it should be stronger and lighter.
For street use I really appreciate a well built NA v8 setup. You don’t need boost to have fun

MMR makes some really high end stuff. One their Coyote engines went 5.67 in the quarter with stock valves, redlining at 10k with two big spooly snails. That 5.4 2v is probably making a lot of power.

I think max effort NA. Is good for being more chill like just enjoying your car on the street or doing some track days you would avoid heat soak for those days you are out longer. Now if you just go racing definitely supercharger or turbos FTW

Had a rear mounted turbo ws6 boost came in at 5200 and red line was 8k had to keep it up in the rpms to get any boost
Sounds pretty fun to be honest, I like getting a big bang at top of the gearing. Its a lot more rewarding when the power builds and its not just on tap. One of the reasons rotary powered cars are so fun, they just keep giving

Out of all the cars, I'd probly have to go with the Accord that's just me but hey that car would be the most fun to drive imo. All the cars were nice and sick, but that mustang definitely iffy with the mileage. Also, Drew if you read this the 240 did have the hp listed at 1500, maybe you saw it after recording? But who knows since there wasn't a dyno pic??

Im a few years older but, I was raised that na cars were where the actual builders exist. You can super or turbo any sack of trash car to 600-700 hp but na build one and your probably a master engine builder
