NBA free agency is basically over but next year will have a lot of wild moments. This is a look at who the biggest free agents are next year and why the Warriors have huge decisions to make.

I mean he can hurt players. That pretty good defense. But he would get technical fouls. After 7 in the playoffs he be suspended a game. Jjj don't let opponents dunk the basketball. He make defensive highlights.

So what's up with Colin Sexton? Any teams you could see making a late sign and trade? I feel like financially a two-year deal makes more sense than the qualifying offer; if the Cavs put a player option on their 40m/3 offer that's worth considering. I suppose Sexton sees that his role with the Cavs is shrinking, so it's right to question if he'll have the opportunity to show his value for that third contract.

The Wiggins "Nothing less than the max" was from 2017, I'm sure Wiggins understands what the Warriors have brought him and that he isn't gonna get a max deal.

Wiggins isn't taking anything less then a max, he can piss off, we rehabed his career, now he can sucker a max out of another team

Lakers are honestly better off letting LBJ walk. He's about enter his 40s and he WILL eventually slow down.
They're better off getting the cap space next off-season and try to build something around AD.
Problem is Lakers cannot build on someone who will call sick every 2 or 3 games.
They have no choice. But honestly I hope he leaves I wanna see him win one more chip and thats not happening with the lakers

If I was the Warriors owner, I'd bite the bullet and pay all of them because in the end, that franchise is a massive investment and would make profits in other ways such as merchandise sales, TV ratings, ticket sales, etc. I would also bargain for lower luxury taxes and cap space increases in a new NBPA deal for letting players re-sign with less of a cap penalty.
Turner to the Cs. Al Horford will be off the books and CBA will definitely get the salary cap to increase. That will be ideal for both Turner and yhe Cs as Turner could replace Horford for the team's foreseeable future giving an important role on the team and the Cs get a very scary defensive 1st five.
they should honestly let klay and draymond go if they want max contracts. poole has been outplaying klay, and in the finals the celtics werent even guarding draymond. they performed better with looney than with draymond.
i know they are core pieces to the warriors dynasty, but you cant keep everyone. and these guys are not playing the same as they did when they were younger.
I would keep Klay by all means, he can shoot the lights out. You don't let one of the best shooters in the league just walk like that. I would let Draymond go though. The man can't hit the side of a barn.
@@vexotimmer2675 he definitely used to be one of the best shooters in the league. but last season he shot 42.9% from the field and a career low 38.5% from 3. and by all accounts his defense is still solid but not as good as it used to be.
thats a 1.5% worse field goal % than russell westbrook.

I hope the warrior's financial IQ is just as high as their basketball IQ. Take a pay cut, but put your money in smart investments and be like Shaq. Secure your legacy and secure continuous wealth in the future.

Does Klay take a pay cut? I could see him, and does Draymond get a max from a single team not named Golden State? I’d say Wiggins should be a priority for the Warriors.
He’s 27 while Klay and Draymond are 32 and while both are still great player their All NBA caliber days are behind them and it’s not like they’re going to improve, if anything they regress.
If I’m the Dubs give Wiggins a 4 year max, Klay and Dray 2 year maxes, Poole a 3 year 72 mil, and Steph could have anything he wants
I believe that Poole is also going to get the max if he does as well or better than last season. And Stephen Curry is already on a 4 year, $216M extension so he is set for at least another 3 years.

Not an OKC fan but I think that it would be nice if russ went home for this final year of his contract and maybe just retired after. Obivously he might still want to play after that but I think it might be fitting for russ to go out with a bang for his final season back at OKC and then just call it a day. He's had an incredible career, and honestly I would like to see him end it on a high note and then just wait to get inducted into the hall of fame.

Nah DLO doesn’t have the “do I take a big bag on a bad team” option. There isn’t just a max gonna be sitting out there for him. Not to mention teams have finally really started to get smart and stop middling in the middle of the league on purpose. A lot are going to collecting draft capital with cap space and being bad for the better Picks who are more likely to be stars & under team control for nearly a decade. And then the contenders rarely if ever have a max slot sitting there any more and they sure aren’t going to use it to freely sign DLO to a max
D'Lo will definitely get a minimum 100 million contract.
Point guards salaries (for the elite/top 20 in the league) start around 19-20 million so he'll get paid

I think that the Blazers could be good next season, Dame only had one bad season and I think he can bounce back with this new team tho they’re not gonna be great but with Jerami Grant. The Blazers can be very surprising team next season with possibly a 5th seed in my opinion because they improved their defense and getting Jerami Grant with 1 first is huge for them but if they can figure out the Jusuf Nurkic Situation then I think they can have a good season.

The least Donkey Green and Glass Thompson can do is acknowledge Steph carried their asses to 4 rings and take a team-friendly deal to accomodate Wiggins contract.
I would have said that in better words but I can see the point here and agree. To me only Steph deserves a supermax until he retires or at least close to a max. Even Steph is willing to take a slight discount for the team. Klay will take one for sure. Wiggs can be talked into taking a slight discount and I believe Poole is not there yet. Draymond is another issue... It will need a lot of talking to convince him.

I agree with the warriors taking pay cuts. When your play isn’t your peak anymore you don’t deserve the peak deal. Doesn’t mean you still don’t get millions. Just takes a special person to only care about winning.
