even though at this current time chloe is not a lesbian anymore i still go back to this video.
i currently identify as a lesbian and this video really helped me at the beginning of my journey discovering that, i’ve been a lesbian for almost 4 years now and i never really had support when i came out.
this video really helped me become more confident in the person that i am. to be honest it saddens me that chloe is not still like this, i adore them now and they are my favorite artist and it always makes me happy seeing her on instagram or on youtube sometimes. but i do miss the covers, i miss the shy kid, it was like a home to me.
but people change and that’s ok, even though i am fully comfortable with being a lesbian this video helped me realize changing in other ways is ok.

As someone in their 20's that studies Psychology and works with people in their 40's, I just wanted to say that you've acted much more like an adult than people who are twice your age or older. The self-awareness and honesty is wonderful, and super heart warming to see!
Seriously, you've done well to come this far with yourself. A lot of people spend their lives trying to overcome different hurdles (with themselves, relationships, living meaningfully, etc), and some of them are never able achieve those goals.
I think it's important to stop and think about the things that one really finds important, as it can help us grow into better people

What the kid didn't know was, years before (when his son was 13) my friend confided in me that he thought his son was gay.
I told him not to worry about it, that the kid was probably just late noticing girls. He said he wasn't worried about that. Gay or straight his son was still his son. My friend had told me this because he thought his son might be afraid of telling him that he was gay, and that if he ever confided in me to tell him his dad was fine with it. (this boy was like my nephew)
Now if you've ever seen the movie Office Space, my friend was just like Lawrence in that movie. The construction worker. But my friend was a welder.
Well, when the boy told me he thought he was gay, I told him to tell his dad, that I knew it was going to be okay.
He called me later and said his dad had said, "Hell, I've known you were gay since you were 13."
"Hell, he knew I was gay even before I knew it."
My friend just recently proudly gave his boy away at a lovely wedding to a very good man.
Never be afraid of who or what you are. You are a lesbian, but that is only one aspect of who you are. I am an amputee. But I am also a welder, a friend, a son, a writer, and many many other things. Also, I'm straight. Does the fact I'm straight make me an enemy to anyone who is not straight?
