Haha no worries mate - I was making this vid when I saw your comment on the last one so snuck it in hehe! From all reports the whole area is pumping again which is great! Yep you must check out Sok San and Wat Bo areas next time you head back!!

We were just down on Pub street last night and it was pumping. For some reason there were a large amount of children begging.

I suppose with more people comes more beggars? More opportunity for them I guess?

Hi mate,
You walked straight past JB's in the video with all the tourists and pool table inside. It used to be my favourite khmer restaurant - Five Sons. They had the best bo bo chicken and beef noodles. He even made scrambled crocodile eggs for me once - lovely bloke. The bo bo wasn't on the menu (same with the scrambled crocodile eggs) but he would do special dishes for me. I was there most mornings i was there. There was a Mexican restaurant from memory on the corner of the night market rd. Sok San is a lot busier now in December. Cheers

There was nothing at night when I was in Cambodia last time. Now, we see pub street every time I see any films from Siem Reap. Is that the only place that is open at night there?
There are street food stalls along the river also.
G'day mate! When we were there last year with this videos it was pretty quiet except for pub street and it's surrounds. From all reports the buzz is returning bit by bit which is great news!

Go to Malis when in Siem Reap. Their mango salad and sour beef soup are spectacular.
Next time we will, Kinal always said that place is amazing but we never end up going there!! Haha!
