Very well said. In general with bb weigh increasing also range and accuracy increases. In CQB anything over 0,25 is unnecessary. In outdoor games, use whatever weight your wallet is comfortable with and your gun can hop effectively. What does it mean ? It means that if you can hop the certain weigh, your power doesn't drop drastically (Especially true with most AEGs). If your replica can pull 1.5J while hopping 0.28g, but doing only 1J while hopping 0.4g .... it is not a good trade off because you loose too much power trying to hop it properly. .... so consider your replica capabilities . Most AEGs can use up to 0.32g bone stock .... GBB/HPA replicas do not care and can use up to 0.48 even on stock setups (bucking, hop unit)

Bruh I've been exclusively running 20s in my AEG M4 for 2 years now as an outdoor only player...
I know this is late but can I run .28 bbs in my ssr9 dsg eu edition
Im using a .32 in my ssx303 i know i can get more accuracy with more but any higher weight they want double the money for 5x less bb's. I keep a bottle of .46 around if its windy or im in the woods but i cant be spending that much for what i see as marginal accuracy increase. I heard is not the best to switch bb weights and let my hopup and bucking break in on a certain weight. What do you guys think?

Sniper-unpopular opinion incoming- go as low as you can and get hop up action and good accuracy, so like 40 or 43. Very few guns will actually shoot 46s under any circumstance better than 43s or 40s.
pistols- who gives a fuck save money pick your lightest other ammo you already use.
One question… Why is the ssx303 use 380-450 20g but 380-450 is usually 36g

Question, ive done a few airsoft games, getting to know abit more every game i have stuck to .25g bb’s in my pistol and AEG, if i were to up the weight to say .28 or .30 would i need to adjust the hop to suit?
You absolutely need to adjust the hop up. The more weight the BB the more hop it needs. When adjusting the hop increase slowly until you get a bb flight that either one flys perfectly straight for as long as possible or has a slight bit of upward flight
so should I use like .32 or .3 for my tokyo marui gold match its stock
and what gas should I use blue gas or is green gas just better becouse the extra fps
If the slide is plastic use blue gas if the slide is metal use green or red but never black gas unless it’s like super cold. Red gas can be good if you have strong upgraded parts. It can allow you to get better fps and maybe range. .3 will probably be better so it’s not too slow for your gun. Just make sure your field allows .3 bbs some fields have limits on what bb weight you can use.
Hey guys! I have a SSE18 and a ssp2 what is the best weight bb to use for both? For indoor I use .28 but I mainly play outdoors what weight would be good for these two?

What happens if I shoot a 0.12 with a Sniper with 500fps?
Why
If your sniper is 500fps with 0,20g bb and you put 0,12g bb in it, 0,12g bb will gain more fps (560-580fps)
It'll be wildly inaccurate
If the .12s are of low quality they may even shatter in your barrel hahaha
