there are a lot of contradictions because he is quoting different texts in a same video. Shiva's role is different in every texts as they are written by people of different denominations.

“Say: (It is) the truth from the Lord of you (all). Then whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve. Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers Fire. Its tent encloseth them. If they ask for showers, they will be showered with water like to molten lead which burneth the faces. Calamitous the drink and ill the resting-place!”
You surely cannot guide whoever you like ˹O Prophet˺, but it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills, and He knows best who are ˹fit to be˺ guided.

In Hinduism it’s more about symbolism and message rather than characters. Shiva is considered as Dark Matter in the universe also lord of time while his wife “Shakti” aka “Energy” is considered cosmic energy …… when both interacts creation exists. Both are form of Brahman( The Supreme Soul) to understand scientifically the ancient use to name such energy as person with nature.

    1. He is all powerful
    2. When not angry--he meditates, becomes sweetest god there is
    3. When angry--destroy everything & everyone, punish & serve justice

Good reaction Guys, But this guy making the video has No idea what he is talking about, Seems like he is just saying made-up things he heard somewhere. Most of the stories that he is telling are not in any scripture.
Lord Shiva is a very Very Prominent and complex personality in The Indian Scriptures just like all other Deities, understanding whom is not as easy as understanding a comic book character or a God from Greek or other mythologies.
His stories often give the deepest life lessons about spirituality, the true meaning of infinite bliss, and inner strength.
If you guys want to learn more about Hinduism (Sanatan Dharma), I can suggest a discord call or Zoom discussion. I think that could be a fun Idea.
For more reaction videos on Sanatan Dharma in general, I recommend watching videos on Indian channels or channels where the host is well-researched in spirituality and scriptures.

❤ In India we treat Lord Shiva, lord Vishnu and lord Brahma as our own father and we treat as mother to their wives like Mother goddess Parvati wife of Shiva, Mother goddess laksmi wife of Vishnu and Mother goddess Saraswati wife of Brahma
And that's why we take care of them as daughter or son taking care of his or her father and mother we call them as Maa means Mother. Taking care means cleaning the house nicely and temple of the house too and then we offer flowers if we got flowers only then, actually you can give anything that is good like sweet. And it's the simple love showing to our god's. And if we can't do anything because of some reasons we just chanting their names. And if because of some reasons we need help we pray 🙏 and ask them like saying maa can you help me and tell all the problems what happened that's all.

    29:37
Debunking Common Myths About Kotirudra Samhita, Chapter 12:
    1) This incident of Daruvan is not the origin of Shivling, nor does it tell what Shivling is; the previous chapters of this Purana and other Puranas also explain in detail what Shivling is and what the origin of Shivling is. Which you can know from this and this video.
    2) This incident of Darwana has been explained, described, and used differently in different Puranas.
    3) Somewhere this incident is used in the form of a BanaRoop description, somewhere in the form of the glory of ashes (bhasma), and somewhere in the form of Shiva's grace on the sages.
    4) In Shiva Purana Koti Rudra Samhita, this incident is recorded as a description of Banaroop.
    5) Nothing in this incident is related to any organ.
    6) Mahadev was holding Ulmuk, i.e., Tejomaya linga, not an organ in his hands.
    7) The vicious tricks shown by Mahadev are the Pashupata way of penance, not what Maleech thinks and describes.
    8) Mahadev's ulmuk linga did not fall to the ground due to the curse of the sages, but because of his leela, Mahadev himself left the ulmuk.
    9) Mata Parvati took the source form, i.e., the five elements, known as banaroop, which is the main point or reason for describing this incident on Shiv Puran.
    10) Banaroop is the form of Prakriti, and Mata Parvati is herself Prakriti. That's why Mahadev said only Mata Parvati is capable.
    11) Only the one who is proficient in the five main elements can hold or stabilize such an element, which is destroying everything. This is the reason that Mata Parvati took the banaroop.
    12) And in the same banaroop form, Mother Parvati held and stabilized that ulmuk.
    13) What is 'Banaroop'?
The word 'arrow' (bana) is indicative of the number five: it is applied with regards to Kama by reason of his five arrows; when addressed towards Shiva, it regards his five faces; and when to Parvati, the perspective is her nature composed of the five elements.
    14) In Chapter 12, Shloka 16, Mahadev is described in the form of AVADHUTA.
The avadhuta is so called because he is immortal; he is the greatest; he has discarded worldly ties; and he is indicated in the meaning of the sentence "thou art that."

Shiva is first yogi master of emotions too so he cannot be short tempered it's opposite it is very hard to make him angry. there are no evil beings with him they are justs different dimensional beings. one of his names is pashupati means master/lord of all creatures because he is also consciousness in everybody. shivalinga doesn't represent phallus it represents masuline principle of god/source. third eye represents the conscience the ability to see right and wrong in complex situations which our normal eyes cant see.

Sanathana Dharma or the eternal tradition has evolved with times, some times bad traditions and good traditions have come into it, usually the bad traditions are removed over a period of time and good ones keep being incorporated into it, thats why it has survived for so long. we are more accepting of all traditions than anyother religion so long as they dont force their ideology or faith on us and try to convert.

Guys do know that most of the knowledge is in metaphors ok, try to think as decipher the metaphors... then one will find the main knowledge in it. its like eg. u became a cheetah, means u ran so fast u were like cheetah ok. The informations are their to train us, humans, and the thinking enhances hence its all knowledge to make our minds stronger, its boosting the morals and what to do at different times like humans will get in similar situations in the stories so how to recover from the bad habits that the main goal of the stories, to train us in morality and be strong in mind. Greek mythology is a copy of indian mythology,, and hinduism is the oldest, now proofs, zeus = indra, the is a dog of heavens hound known as serbereus, in indian mythology there is a guard hound of indra with the same name serberes, there was an island joining the african continent with indian southern part proof, a particular type of lemur is found in southern part of india and africa, the sea has risen hence the island is lost, lot of hindu tribes have gone to different areas of the world, with time, distortion of words and language gave rise to different religions, the jews, mosses story is similar to krishna birth story, small kids killed by king, and a celestial voice that told that the king that mosses has been born, both krishna and mosses have similar stories raised by another lady, yazidis are ancient hindus, eygpt, the pyramids have the same technology used as in mayan as well as indian temples made see praveen mohan channels he has deciphered, all temples that are made and u will be thinking is it possible that the ancient indians have made with out tech say 10k year before, one more super knowledgeable guy, abhijeet chawda pls watch his videos he has explained how greeks and indians are similar. may be u can give reactions on praveen mohan and abhijeet chawda videos. pls do watch them, super guys there. full of knowledge. the story of ganga ji is to be more refined. the sacrificial alter is only given ghee, and wood as sacrifies, nothing more, only pure things. like mango tree branches, etc. There are things like we people dont know about there are very very dark things, dark things meaning like the halahal, so the oras of it would very bad, cosmic energy, people who do meditations would know the changes in oras and things a lot is there, GOD is like one that protects, balances everything out, and the GODS, have to do some thing to get things right so there is a motion right, the halahal, cannot be released into the universe because it would kill everything, so hence lord shiva has contained it in his throat, the poison halahal cannot go away. cannot disappear. Thor = zeus = indra. same variations. some stories must be refined more insights, the falling thing need to find out more naa , that is some thing wrong, dont agree with the that, the narrator has changed some things, not proper story..more needs to be found out.

    According to Shaivism :
Shiva's supreme manifestation is called Parashiv which is Parabrahman (supreme one absolute reality, consciousness, omnipotent, omniscience, omnipresent, infinite, formal n final cause of all that in existence) which is formless and unimaginable something which our mind cannot comprehend. Then for everything to exit and for the different functions of the existence parashiv manifested into Sadashiv (another manifestation of Shiva) and from him comes the other manifestation that are different aspects of the same one Supreme Shiva and they are ishvar or bhagwan that we see in these stories Lord Brahma as the creator, Lord Vishnu as the preservor, Lord Rudra (another form of shiva) which is the destroyer and Rudra manifest into 11 other Rudras (all different forms or manifestation of Shiva) and one from them is the Lord Shiva/Shankara the one resides in Kailash which the stories in this video is mostly revolved around.
This is not enough information i was trying simplify it there are more to this.
In Hinduism you can see many gods n goddesses but in reality all of them are parts or different manifestation of The One Supreme Being (Parabrahman/Parashiv) which is the cause of all that in existence and at the end everything goes back to it.
    ॐ नमः शिवाय ❤️

In Shaivism, which is worshiping Lord Shiva, you recite Mantras specific to Lord Shiva, make offerings of fruits, flowers and things that are considered to be dear to Lord Shiva to appease him and while meditating or praying, you focus upon him. Likewise, in Vishnusim, you pray and meditate on different incarcerations of Lord Vishnu and recite mantras and make offerings specific to Lord Vishnu. Saktaism is worship of Shakti. Shakti is considered to be wife of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati. In Saktaism you pray to the Divine Goddess, the Divine energy in her many forms, like Durga, Kali, etc. There are specific Mantras, offerings and rituals for this practice as is for Shaivism or Vishnuism. Hope this helps.

In Hinduism, no one can change what is predetermined (Niyati); even if you are God, you are a part of the long vision. That is why God's/Goddess' acts have meaning and are already incorporated into Niyati. The Kalachakra (wheel of time) must continue to spin, and each act is interconnected. Your actions may alter the path, but the outcome will be the same. One simple example is death.

Just like Vishnu Shiv also have 3 forms: Rudra, Adiyogi & Sadashiv.
Rudra the crying baby Shiv, represents the new creations.
Adiyogi popularly known as shiva(we all know about him), one of his job is to destroy this univers.
Sadashiv, Sadashiv is everywhere and also nowhere, we can't describe it.

The gods like Shiva can choose to participate in the divine play (lila) in creation of their own volition. You can see various sages, saints, and enlightened being do the same thing and play in the drama of creation but unlike us they can choose to stop whenever they so choose for this is true freedom. They involve themselves in the tragedies, sadness and happiness of human experience but at anytime they can just like a switch go back to being the screen of a movie which is untainted by the play of lights projected by it.

Lingam is very misunderstood because of the similarity with the word "ling" which means a phallic. I don't know what a lingam is but it is a symbol of energy and fertility (not in the sense of reproduction) in the sense of fertile.

Hinduism is ever evolving. It's mostly good but some bad aspects of that is that Vaishnavas started to claim that Buddha was one of Vishnu's avatars etc after Buddha died and his teachings started gaining traction. But the good thing is that whenever a great being comes along who is clearly self realized like Ramakrishna Paramhamsa or Ramana Maharshi, they can be easily revered as gods without any formal acceptance by any representative of Hinduism as it really is very lenient in such matters.

Shakti(pure energy) herself is wife of Shiva....bold of you to assume to that he need power from lower realm god's........his every action has a reason behind it.....he was already all powerful in entire universe but still in control, he took that extra power from god's because it was creating the universe out of balance as the asuras were getting lot weaker in front of god's......and Shiva treats everyone equally so he took that extra power from god's, not for his greed of power but to keep the universe at balance.........every being in the universe gets his energy from Shiva, our very energy to be alive is from Shiva....the power of heavenly god's is also from Shiva himself....shiva is the supreme parmatma himself just like Vishnu.....that's why many scriptures say that Shiva and Vishnu is two different forms taken by one supreme being (Krishna) to perform different tasks in universe.....Shiva is supreme being himself doing tasks in this universe....

Shiva literally means everything that's not ...

Bro there are many contradictions here , after listening to that video you are watching and when it came to mother Parvati ,I was totally shocked, like what he is saying goddess of what ?????
One more thing, mother Parvati called adi sakti (which is half of God shiv ) , he separated half of himself , so it is told that when mother adi sakti and god shiv are together they are sampurna (complete)
And many more contracting things about god shiv , please refer to some indian content for knowing more about him
Like that phalas or whatever thing it's not that , it's that pillar of light from where shiv appears
    We worship represention of that
That sages story at last of video it's totally wrong that's not how it's happened
Bro why did that guy create video if he did not know anything

The Shiva of the Trinity is different who remains always as shiv-ling (like a pole in english)
The Shiva we know stories about ...
By the way, its Pronounce as Shiv, Portuguese and British came and it became Shiva.
Anyway, so as i was saying The Shiv we know stories about is the one who is the incarnation of that Energy called Shiv ling (which seemed as a pole to Brahma and Vishnu)
In different ages, people believed differently and that's how we got different stories n stuff, right!
    Okay
And they are not actually God or something, none of them except the 3 representation of brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh (Shiv)
In ancient time Shiv also known as Pashupatinath(savior of animals and human beings)
Time to time, he got different names n all ...
So as I was sharing that they were not actually some kind of God
In satyuga or to be more specific Pre Satyug time, in the existence of beings, there were belief of many kinds, two main beliefs were of Devta (godly) and demonic (of demons, Rakshas) Devta were two kinds mainly, wise ones and cunning ones to say it simply
Rakshas were more into materialism too much and excellently muscular
    Time after time
devta became more powerful because of their wisdom, soft power and geopolitical intelligence
Rakshas(whom you know as demons now) were not all bad
Devta (whom you know as God) were not all of 'em good
Therefore, it all is not mythology to be clear, it's actual history of Jambudweep(biggest land part of that is bharat or India nowadays)
When foreigners invaded India, they dominted for long n long time, and our history got changed
Foreigners understood devta as God and rakshas as demons according to their limited amount of knowledge of something totally different which they guessed as similar to our history but that actually was not.
This is what I attempted to share here in brief and limited as related to the topic in today's video, sharing other or more things would hve created more questions.
    Thank you Guys!
    Regards,
    Author Shivam Dwivedi

The Shiva-linga or Lingam is not a phallic symbol. According to purans or upanishads Lingam means "SYMBOL" So Lingam or Shiv-Linga means Symbol of Shiv. It can also mean Pillar of Fire. The Phallus thing he said was not true at all.
And the Order of Scriptures are:-
    1) The 4 vedas,
    2) The Upanishads,
    3) The puranas,
    4) The Itihaas (History)

22:48 Because video have not clarified. Lord Shiva is formless, free of everything, but there is Lord Shankar, who is actually the creation of Lord Shiva, who lives in human form. BTW Lord Shiva have many other creation (that are not human always), which are worshipped in different parts of India for different purpose. Shiva just put his essence into his creation. So Shiva is not just destroyer, he also creates 😂. He is very complicated, I admit.

    • @shishirkumarsky
      @shishirkumarsky 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

All westerners and most of the Hindus also, misunderstood Lord Shankar as Lord Shiva. The reason being, Shiva is formless, and only represented as symbols (Shivalings), however to connect with Lord Shiva, people kind of worship his human creations which have his essence, mostly Lord Shankar. (It's not Avatar btw)

Darjeeling is a city in India. The name 'Darjeeling' comes from the Tibetan words, 'dorje' means vajra (originally Indra's weapon or scepter) and 'lingam' means place or land, mountain, hence 'land or mountain of vajra'. Lingam means sign and symbol. When Brahma created the world and life on earth, the Devtas, Asuras, Apsaras, Gandharvas etc. all left their three worlds and Swarga Loka and started coming to earth. All the Gods, beings and devotees prayed to Lord Shiva to see the worldly life created on earth by Brahma and live with the humans and creatures. Lord Shiva agreed to leave his world and live with them on earth for some time. Shiva then appeared on the Himalayas and chose the Himalayas as his abode until the Mahabharata.
