WE are inviting viewers to join June Shannon, aka “Mama June,” on her journey through a life-changing transformation - a physical and emotional metamorphosis that will leave one of America’s most recognizable personalities virtually unrecognizable. I was proud and heartbroken for Alana when she crinkled up that paper and was explaining how words can truly hurt. I honestly didn't care who won the pageant, as long as it wasn't any of the ignorant contestants.
Honestly, Alana and Mama June won second in the pageant, but she won first prize in my book. Her speech during the interview was truly heartfelt and beautiful and her wisdom really impressed me.....and the way she took care of Lacie when she fainted and then gave Lacie her flowers.....she showed those girls what a true winner looks like.....grace and class and beauty that shines from within. I'm proud of her.
That orange make-up on June and Alana is much worse than that yellowish make-up June wears on the show at home.
