- “Police Scotland have formally charged Peter Murrell, and they believe that there are grounds to take forward the criminal case against him."
Former chief executive of the SNP Peter Murrell has been charged in connection with embezzlement of party funds. Nicola Sturgeon's husband was rearrested and interviewed for nine hours as part of the Operation Branchform investigation into £600,000 of SNP finances.
The SNP has been urged to co-operate with the police investigation into the party's finances after its former chief executive, Peter Murrell - Nicola Sturgeon's husband - was charged in connection with embezzlement of funds.

I don't know what others feel but when interviewed together, Sturgeon and Murrell often looked unnatural in some way. I always put it down to possible marital friction and attempts to cover it up for political 'solidarity' reasons.
