Five officers can attend a non crime but if you report a real crime they don't want to know, this is why they only solve 5% of real crimes.

so true. This is such a waste of police time and resources. The police are looking for what they think are soft targets, because they are apparently completely unable to do anything against people openly calling for violent genocide against the Jews today - and it will be the Christians tomorrow - as if they haven't already started with grooming gangs etc.

@therealgirl3295as a avid history enthusiast it genuinely troubles me to my core that people are completely oblivious to what’s going on. The level of historical ignorance of 99% of the population is astounding but to be frank it’s not really their fault. The history you are taught in school is so dumbed down and lacking in context it’s borderline inaccurate. 5 minutes of reading about the stasi and East Germany would have people raising eyebrows at that of course though most people don’t even know what the stasi was.

That's just the point - police are now involved in 'non-crime'. They arrest and detail people knowing full well that no crime has taken place, so that they can investigate 'incidents'. They then record a 'hate incident'. This is a clear indication that the police are no longer interested in crime, but would rather use their powers (and tax payers money) to intimidate citizens for holding opinions of which they do not approve.

If the other group "kick off" arrest them!-- not the marchers or the street preachers or the silent prayers. Police will gladly pay £5500 of taxpayer's money to knobble their political opponents, this isn't a deterrent. The offending officers quite simply need to lose their job and ideally face prosecution for what should be a criminal abuse of police powers, not pay their way out of this with someone else's money.

Who can take on these cases through the courts?
We do need to get some of these cases through the courtroom doors. Unfortunately, that is going tobe more work for the legal Centre, probably ending up at the Supreme Court to set a legal precedent.

That’s because it’s not up to a cop to decide that. Innocent until proven guilty just means you can’t send someone to federal prison without due process, aka a court of law. If that were to apply to cops then they would never arrest anyone would they? For the most part they do have to use guilty until proven innocent, of course this is heavily dependent on what they’re responding to.

There are times when we're told that tyranny is happening abroad, allegedly, however the average person doesn't have any way to check whether it actually is or not, so we're expected to believe what the media tell us. Meanwhile there always has been more tyranny in our own country than there is abroad, you'll note the media don't tell us this.

Good on Angus. This police woman is obviously either incompetent, or vexatious in this arrest. I was a police officer for 42 years both in London and Australia, and my training in both is that the total allegation is carried, including witness statements BEFORE speaking to the alleged offender. If the allegation is true pre investigation will prove this. I am only sorry that that meagre little compensation was not much more, and the arresting officer was not also made to pay. They don't want it to go to court, because they know they wouldn't have a leg to stand on legally. So they have developed an intermediate step between legal and illegal, that costs almost nothing, has no accountability, no proof or disproof, no guilt or innocence, but counts against an individual if they were seeking employment or working in sensitive areas. This is a chilling prospect, and will go beyond religious texts and reach into any opinion deemed unfashionable by law enforcement and politicians.
