His marriage to June Carter lasted from 1968 til her death on May 15 2003 Johnny died on September 12 2003. 35 years of marriage is beautiful til death do us part.
19 years ago today, we lost a Legend, my idol Johnny Cash. Since his passing, been spending my time wearing black to remember him. I miss and love him very much. His music lives on forever.
"His Music lives on forever" If there are two albums that will forever define Cash's career, it will be At Folsom Prison (1968) and American Recordings (1994) I remember when i was just 7 years old around december listening to those albums and i was blown away by them. The Man in Black will always come around RIP Johnny Cash February 26 1932 - September 12 2003
@@dnasty312 At Folsom Prison and American Recordings are my favorite Cash albums. At Folsom Prison revitilized Cash's career. American Recordings was a career resurgeance for Cash who was recgonized as a music icon but whose record sales had suffered throughout the lat 70s and the 1980s
"A Boy Named Sue" was recorded live at San Quentin Prison in 1968. It's got a funny title, but just like many Johnny Cash songs, it was based on a true story about, well, "a boy named Sue". I even read about it online. Long live the legend. May he rest in peace.
Him and June Cash are remarried in heaven now

And we lost John Ritter less than 24 hours earlier. I remember learning of both of their passings the morning of September 12th, 2003
