I could never do the complete chop them up and build them back part but there is a piece of me that says I could paint one. Not like you of course, but I can follow directions. I am most impressed with the detail. I look at it and say PERFECT! Then you go and paint a highlight or a piece of hair and it is MORE PERFECT! So glad to have found this channel. I may never have a channel but I have well-loved bags of Breyer horses that although I would miss the original color, to be truthful they are scuffed and chipped and scratched. My idea of a "glossy" coat when I was a kid was to eat some potato chips and rub it all over my horses! You are just amazing!!
Aw thank you so much! That's hilarious, I definitely took mine out in the mud and grass as a kid, as well as painted them (and my mom's, sorry mom 😅) You should definitely give painting a go, especially if you have a favorite horse (real or fictional) then it's extra special!
I am going crazy waiting for the weather where I am to get above freezing. Last winter I learned the hard way what happens when you prime paint in freezing weather. The paint freezes and all cracks up and you have to sand it all off! No matter how fast you think you can run back in house lol! Beautiful job!
Yikes! Yea anything that cold is no good. I try and focus on sculpting and tack when it's too hot/cold, I make sure I have things lined up in case I get a random nice day!
I watched two videos and immediately subscribed ❤ horse content makes my heart happy and your videos are calming and gentle while still being very informative and interesting
Love the turntable! I've been watching a lot of model horse customizing/painting tutorials, and this is the first one I've seen with a lazy susan/pottery turn table. Great idea!
Your channel is wayyyyyy underrated. These customs are stunning!!

Thank you for publicly posting your videos. I really want to paint my own horses, and watching your work is a great inspiration.
