Kelpies are a Scottish thing. They lure you in by looking friendly and like beautiful horses but, if you get on them they immediately dive into the loch taking you with them and drown you. There's been some Hollywood crossover suggesting they're the Loch Ness monster but I never heard of that and I am from Scotland and know all the original stories. Ok it's feasible that a little kid hearing the legend may think it's the same thing but monsters and sea snakes don't look like horses to me and I never heard of this idea till the film came out. I think your Nokken sprite is more than likely part of the Kelpie thing because us on the East Coast still burn longboats at new Year and have the UpHellyA celebration because we have a strong Viking linneage too. You made Nokken very beautiful in a spooky, ethereal way! I love him!
This horse is amazing. It's so scary but beautiful. I like the perch concept, the paint job looks spot on. You have giant perch in your country. I'm in Ontario Canada and they are tiny in comparison 😂. Love your work. Don't be hard on yourself. You are so talented. Your works are master pieces. ❤🇨🇦🎉

Thank you so much! My primer is called fine surface primer and i get it from gamezone.no. my sealent is called liquitex matte varnish spray, but i would not reccomend it. It dries yellow so white horses are difficult. My pastels are brand gallery by Mungyo soft pastelles in 12 earth tones and 12 gray tones. I get them from CChobby.no :) hope that helps
I thought about turning a schleich in to a kelpie, water horses, pegasi, unicorns and any other equine based mythical creatures are my favorites, what model do i use

Your story reminds me of the doll customizer Dollynx. She's from Germany and her dolls all have a back story built in a mythical alternate universe she has created. Her dolls are amazing, her world is amazing, the stories are so creative and give the dolls life. Your horse is beautiful and I love all the little details. Did you flock the cattails? I can picture him at the bottom of a pond somewhere just waiting...
It would be great to have kelpies on star stable, i just particularly think the reason for star stable to not add kelpies is because they're a monster. Now, i am sure they add mythicals and all but i think kelpies don't really count as horses because they're monsters that shapeshift, and urban legends with a graphic story. Kelpies pretend to be a white, beautiful pony to attract curious and young children, and then drowns them for later. I find that not so kid friendly. And considering star stable is a cute horse game, i think adding kelpies wouldn't be the best idea.

Next time you do a water horse I suggest you get a fine tip hot glue gun and do little dots everywhere making it look like water
