I am still using my p20 Pro after 2,5 years, good as new in terms of battery unlike iPhones and Samsung

Same here guys, i love it but my screen broke again i already fixed it once... Im thinking of getting this p40 lite for 200€ instead of paying €120 euro for fixing the screen of p20pro and then wait for repairs and screen from china etc.. What do you guys tihnk? Is p40 lite a big downgrade?

I'm Interested in getting this phone but there are a few things that concern me. First of all, Google. I don't mind ditching GMS because I know I can always side load it but if I do sideload GMS, are there any restrictions that will prevent it's long term use? Secondly, I like to game on my phone a lot, I mostly play Call Of Duty: Mobile and I was wondering about the performance. What sort of framerates can I get and at what graphics settings? Also, do you get directional audio when playing games with headphones, like can you hear the direction of footsteps and gunfire? Thanks for your help :)
Don't ever buy the p40 lite. It's the worst phone I bought. First of all: you can't use google services. 2. Because of that some apps just don't work without google. 3. Buy a samsung a52. It's just 50-60 $ more than the p40 lite. 4. It doesn't have a good in-game performance. It has like 40 fps on lowest settings in PUBG. I regreted my decision of buying huawei even in the first day and now i'm stuck with it. WORST PHONE EVER!

Pros decent price ,great battery life ,decent camera and nice glass back finish cons you cannot download apps from the Google play store ..if you are happy with novelty apps and playing games you are fine ..but want proper serious apps like online banking ,credit cards or store reward cards forget it and do not buy this phone
i was torn between redmi note 10 pro and p40 lite but this video helped i have no real issue with the lack of GMS on my phone and would rather deal with that than having to deal with the much heavier MIUi which i know will hurt my phone over the long run plus my heavy gaming will only make things worse for the redmi note 10 pro thank you very informative video I'm subbing

still using p40 lite and i don't have any regrets. the only minus is the gms but i can live without it. also u can manually install gms and fix the problem. i'm currently waiting for the emui 11 beta, i've just recieved the 10.1.0.261 update

had a p20 lite for 3 years!! was good as new up but i lost it, buying the p40 lite which is at a much better deal than when i bought the p20lite 3 years ago... huawei phones are great :)

Is there a way to get a Micro SD card to work in this phone? I've never heard of an m card.
Huawei have their own propriatery cards so you have to make sure you are buying one of those.
It's something called NM Card (Nano Memory), it's like the same size as the SIM but in an external memory form storage. 😁👌🏾

You can look on eBay or Amazon. I've looked on eBay and saw one, but 128GB is good for me so far I don't need to expand it at the moment, unless if I download tons of apps, record a bunch of videos, download games and etc. 👌🏾

I would gladly pay 250 if it had gplay,a metalic feel like my dinosaur p8 lite and maybe a bit more battery(its still great ngl .1 day of full usage and with fast charger)

I thought the same thing about this phone having 3 colors of black, Sakura pink and crush green; but coming to find out something else LOL, there was also a blue color too I seen in another video! 😂

No, unfortunately that'll require to use the Google Play Services which is not compatible with the phone. Though you can watch tutorials on how to do it, but honestly I really don't care about Google Services. I've had a couple phones with Google apps. So now I've decided to purchase this P40 Lite to try out no Google apps. 😉👌🏾

But the device is amazing, the camera quality is good, but not the video recording, which I really don't care much about videos but just the photography. The battery life is excellent, I'mma say you can get like 3 days of battery life or 2 depending on your usage. The screen itself is amazing also, love the hole punch front camera and etc. 😉👌🏾

Id be happy to see the google installing video. Ive just got the phone and was disappointed, because i forgot about this dumb google-less thing.
I am also eager to see a functional method to install G¶M.serv on this exact phone model. I've bought it yesterday and all GSM technicians in my city said it's not possible to have installed.... So I am really, really curious about your method.
I managed to downware the firmware and then the whole process worked for me. So dont worry u can put google on it, but it will take some time. There r some videos on other channels how to downgrade.

I only followed it till i managed to downware the firmware and after that i used the new Googlefier method that TechMagnet has shown in one of his videos. First i screwd it up. I didnt log in all my accounts in googlefier in the first step so make sure to do that if u have more. I had to downgrade again and make the whole process again, i dont recommend that :D So u just need a pc, a couple of programms and some time. Now it workes fine for me. Good luck!

I simply hate the stupid punch-hole camera on every Huawei phone but although, Google is about to change all of that and so I am a bit disappointed the fact that Huawei didn’t lead the show since they bragged a lot about their engineerings.

Worst phone I have ever owned, and last huawei. App support is terrible, literally so many good apps don't work without GMS or Google Play Services. You can request apps on Huawei's awful store however none have been added in 6 months from my list. No Microsoft Teams, Google maps (can be done but very glitchy), NFC payment apps (outside of Asia) ... NHS Covid Track and Trace etc.
You constantly have to make do with inferior ripoffs of Google Apps that no one else outside of Asia uses.
And the Handset feels horrible in the hand, collecting grit in the gaps around the bezel. So yeah I loved it!
Yeah but at the same time you're asking too much for a medium rage phone

@@catherinemananon473 My mum has a Samsung J7 from 2017 , she had never any issue with any kind of apps since 4 years. How do you pay nearly 200€ have issues with apps not working in 2021.
I thought about buying a Huawei phone from my mum, but i think i will stay away.
