Today, we will review what could be the best value phone of last year, the Huawei P40. It has an amazing hardware components and pieces but the software side is limitied because of the US Ban. If you're eyeing this phone and you're considering it this review is perfect for you and if you own it, this is not a validation video but to ask the question is it still good in 2021? Today we will review Huawei P40. Without Google services, is it worth it?

Bought this for 6 months,, use without gms, although at early period i installed gms in this phone then i del it. Now pure with hms and all is well..

Poor huawei 🥺, hope their OS will dominate soon! They make great phones.
I actually switch to P40 lol. Hmmmm, I will try to live "no google" in a week and see how it feels like. I did this before with Huawei Nova 7i, I just want to see how dependent I am to google hehehe
@@GadgetRevNow Ohhh 😳, interesting. I can't handle that. I'm a pixel user he-he. 🤣 LOL You should expand ur vids to other platforms like tiktok. People will love you. You're better than like 90% of tech reviewers on PH. Most tech reviewers here are for casual users or gamers. No one really talks about cameras/photography it's frustrating. They only say "it has good camera" then proceed to other hardware.

@@GadgetRevNow I ended up getting a p40 pro 270 euros guy only had it a month couple of scratches on the camera glass but it's only 30 to get it fixed so 300 euros for a p40 pro

I still have the P20 and this one is good except that battery is draining fast and heats badly.
ooohh.. maybe you have a faulty battery now? how often it overheats?
is there a way to have a black top bar, so the front cameras are less noticable? (editing the wallpaper would be another solution, but not really convenient)
There's a way in developer's option to hide notch. I just dont know about Huawei P40, I'm not in the studio right now to check it. Maybe if I have the phone, I will let you know.

Hello po. Currently using p30 and planning to upgrade it to p40 but I'm hesitating because I've heard it doesn't have GPStore . My question is can I still clone all my current apps to p40? Can it be work or not? Please answer me 🥺
Yeah it doesnt. Thats one of my challenges too. You can try installing dual space. I was able to run Google Apps and it has Playstore too. Then basically send a shortcut to your launcher and it will work.

If haven't tried cloning. I think Dual Space is the faster and safer way without bricking P40

Hmmmm... If you need a better camera, P40. If you need longer battery life and bigger screen, Poco F3.
I have both and it's really annoying... P40 pro camera and size weight chip set is awesome but no google.. poco F3 ... Good screen great sound ..but meh camera.. but has Google .... I'm using the p40 pro at moment as the camera is amazing and that is more important for me .. but I get Google anxiety ... I live in UK
Have you tried GSPACE? I have the paid version. You can run Google Apps on Huawei P40. I will actually talk about it next week.
