I really wish Business schools did a better job at teaching the true entrepreneurship. It was my degree (more my concentration, my degree is in management) and seeing how I’m having a hard time finding a job even though I was told my degree would “set me up,” I also feel my entrepreneurship studies really didn’t go in-depth about what it takes to run a business, beyond the financial obligation. No one really talks about the consistent learning process of marketing and designing and content creation and investing. Then there’s the mental part of it: having to force yourself to keep going even when you want to give up and cry in a corner lol. It’s not as rosy as the classes make it, and I love seeing actual designers and entrepreneurs giving you a true outlook of their business and their journey. A lot of other people I found just want to sell you their latest online course, and it’s always the same information. Some really don’t want to help you unless they’re getting money out of it. But it’s so refreshing to have those that truly want to provide information and give you the true journey 🤗 I just hope I can one day to the same for another aspiring entrepreneur ❤️
I watch you for sewing content when I sew and I've been following Rebecca for a while now for realistic, transparent fashion entrepreneurship advise and its nice to see this collaboration! it made my heart so warm. she is responsible for me starting to sew and you Kim are helping get better at my craft! So honestly thank you for the great content , it was much needed and appreciated!
I’m so thankful you enjoyed this video. The aim of this was to inspire someone in a world today that is filled with so much bad news and sadness. It can be discouraging for a creative
I enjoyed watching this video and I was so happy to learn more about Rebecca journey as a designer. I’m in love with her gorgeous jumpsuit collection. Well done ladies 🥂💕
P.S. I love saving my shopping bags and boxes from brands 🤗. I one day want to turn them into purses and for the boxes, I’m always using them for storage lol. I made the mistake of buying 300 plastic packaging bags and 100 plastic polymailers when I first started my business and I feel bad because the whole concept of my business was sustainability and these plastic bags are not sustainable 🤦🏽♀️. But now I’m considering boxes since and wanted to even make custom boxes by recycling all the amazon boxes my family got lol. But I guess it takes baby steps (and time to make boxes lol)
There is always a good, inspiring story to any journey. I've seen/listened to Kim's, now Ms. Tembo's. Thank you for sharing ladies. Ps: That journey never stops developing!
Thank you Priscilla for always bringing up good concept for your subscribers and the world generally. I am really impressed, plus the content is informative and needed. I am just about to finishing setting up my sewing studio, and I'd really like to know if a table top coverstitch industrial machine is good enough, or if I just need to buy the heavy duty industrial coverstitch. Thank you so much, and it's nice learning about Rebecca and her brand. Cheers ladies!😘
It’s totally fine to start out with a table top machine. It done to you to decide which you feel more comfortable working with, suits your budget and produces better outcome
Please can the brother 1034D overlocker be used perfectly in Nigeria because I saw on amazon that it not recommended for countries that doesn't use 120V even if a voltage adaptor is used
The fact George is your videographer and literally goes everywhere with you is heavenly
He is an angel God placed in my life and I'm thankful every day for him
