After seeing this video I went out and got 2 of these very good recommendations to any one 5 stars
I bought two 408 in Dec. 2022 (and sold my two 210). And I will for sure buy the 12 inches sub. The weight and size are an important factors for my decision. It might ended up with two 408 over on sub (mounted on a fork) but later.

Hey there Quick question. I own the ts312 and the ts312s What is the best way to have the hooked together for proper sound. Using only dsp settings or bypass or hypass. And using eq setting on the top. Just curious imo for a small room I was using extra low pass on the sub and contoured the tops. But a larger room. Probably no extra bass and the tops probably not on the contour. Anyway any help would be good

Hi! Is it okay to output to both channel on a single top? I hv EV ELX200 10P. The sales guy doesn’t recommend connection like you do. He said it doesn’t make any different but risk blowing the speaker. Is it true? Considering the guy unlikely an audio professional, I doubt which information is true.

When I use 2 of these subs and engage the Extended LF button only one will work at a time. They can't work both at the same time. Not sure why? Could it be my controller? Please help if anyone else had this issue
Quick question how would you rate this subwoofer against the EV ELX200 12-in power subwoofer? I'm looking for a 12-in subwoofer and I'm torn between the two. I think the Eevee has a higher SPL but the Alto hits deeper frequencies. Can you help? Thanks.

Hi, how does these dj subwoofer compare to regular home theater subwoofer like Polk audio, SVS, Klipsch, etc.
1. Can dj subwoofer make floor vibate during some movie scenes?
2. I like listening to music at a low volume but can still hear the nice bass sound. Can dj subwoofer do the same thing because I don't want to crank the volume too high.

DJ speaker is made to go as loud as possible and be transportable. You probably want a home theater sub. Rythmik audio makes the best ones for home users.
Do you think matching the top speaker with the bottom, like a 12" top with a 12" bottom or a 15" Top with a 15" bottom which creates a 3 way speaker, sounds better than having the sub being a larger diameter than the top? Also, for live singing, do vocals sound better singing though a 10, 12 or 15" top? Thanks!
Go for 10inch for singing, if playing music as well as singing then get a 12. 15inch are mainly used by DJs who don't use a sub.
Adding any sub to any top makes it a 3 way system
15s are good for entire band. Best is dual 15 3 way spkr. But that's expensive.
Curious why you also have a mic on the subwoofer?

With the trooper I recommend high pass. Also how is that sub working out for you? I want to get a 12-in subwoofer but don't know if I should get this or the EV ELX 12 inch sub.
@@DJBpartyTV Thanks and sorry for the delay in replying. It's a good looking solid sub. I have not tried may subs and audio stuff but for me it's brilliant-strong punchy bass, sure worth the money. I ended up hooking up another speaker (line array type) together with the Trouper as I wanted stereo. System works very well. I've not used EV so can't comment, sorry .

I use a pair of the previous Alto 212 subs with a pole mounted Trouper on each. It sounds GREAT. As successful as the Trouper has been... I keep wondering when Alto will come out with the next generation of those!
DON T BUU TS312S!!YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED. I MADE THIS MISTAKE. Try to find another TA212S ....much much better

No
I think I’d avoid 8s for all but the smallest settings, maybe for large meeting rooms that you just need to throw voice to the back of the room, for music though 10s or better I’d say... most venues these days don’t need high volume but headroom still matters, not good to run the rig at the clipping point all the time...

Can I use a 15 and an 18 inch? Or do they have to be the same for better performance? The 18 is on sale for what my old 15 is when I purchased it
They will push soundwaves differently...therefore be impossible to get to pump in phase. It will reinforce at times and cancel out
at other times. This will cause your ears to comb filter

with D-class Power Amps you can run all your gear on one 15a standard outlet. no problem.

I recently got one of these, using it with a pair of troupers in smaller venues. While it does good for its size, it won't keep up with TS312 tops. I have the TS310 tops now with an 18 inch sub for larger venues.
PURESOUND4 i have one 310 do you reckon I should get the sub18 rather than 15 and another 310 for a larger venue? How many people are we looking at? The 310 by itself has amazing power and sound
@@NitroHeliumMethane the 18inch will go low and has a long throw but the bass will miss the crowd within 2 metres. The 12inch hits harder, punchy and is heard by crowd close by and on the dance floor. However, the 12inch sub won't go low as an 18inch. The 15inch will give you a little of both.

That's a good combination, Be careful of larger group settings to not overpower the system.

I personally think the ts312s sounds better than the ts315s. Never liked 15’s for subs, unless you’re dealing with EAW or Danley.

I try Db technilogies 615 sub and Alto ts312s.
Alto is better for djs and electronic music.
DB 615 is better for band and live music becouse have big kick but nothing after that.
Perfect for your lounge, useless for mobiles, minimum size for a sub has got to be a 15" but save your money and go for a 18".

these speakers suck compared to their previous BLACK series, still scratching my head as to why they ever discontinued them for this foolishness..
Dude you needed a crane just to pick up the tops. Their black subs were back breakers and were too expensive.
