This sub is truely a beast. I used one of these subs. I never hit the limit light Even if icrank the volume up till 70-80%. The level is earth shaking. So I was forced to reduce the volume before I hit the limit light and most importantly before I hurt myself. Go for it u ll never regret
Just bought 4 DXS15XLF's. Very impressed with the sound and portability. Yamaha/Nexo have returned to the Bass reflex design and with 1200RMS these 15's with a 4 inch voice coil deliver very deep musical loud bass. Easy to lift being slim and tall. When I say tall they are still a small sub. Couldn't be happier.
@@Jcas765 these are not bandpass. They are bass reflex. That’s why they go deep and sound musical. If you have 2-4 of them they are awesome. Very loud and deep for their size.

If you're thinking about buying one of these and you're worried about the banpass design, just shove a pillow in the port. The sound tightens up a lot.
I own 2 QSC KW181 1000W 18" Powered Subwoofer and just recently got 2 Yamaha DXS18. I'm blown away with the bass on the DXS18s Much cleaner and deeper Bass. I'm getting rid of my KW181. I don't get why KW181 Cost more on price; the yamaha's are much louder and better sound.
synapticflow .. ok cool I do use my 12’s now most of the times unless the room is long then I bring out the 15’s for that long throw but you right 12’s do sound good with the 18’s👍🏽
Serious inquirery right now would these slap hard with my pair of Mackie thump 15a's 2017 models 127db for one alone so 130 together and 1300rms as a pair or 650 alone I need to have mega punch 18" subs is a start man
Why there is no review or any audio test or dj test about the cbr speakers, im eagerly waiting to buy cbr 15 speakers , but i didn't see any review or audio test other than i saw it only in namm show in TH-cam. Please review it on TH-cam tube , there are many people eagerly waiting to buy cbr in india ,but had no reviews yet about it. They can't find in you tube. As we can see all dbr,dxr,speakers here. Please sir this is my kind request. Please test the cbr speakers also.

Debating on these does it give you the chest thump and go deep like a 18”? I know they are 15 but its a bandpass design so hoping that gives it a edge

Depends on the size of the room. But i would say around 150-200 people comfortably

pro user pro user ... My Guess Is Because The Dsx sub is more of a Bandpass design made to throw the sound furthest to the back of the room or venue!
There is huge difference in spl as well. DSR 118 is 132 dB whereas dxs18 is 136 dB
Damn those things are huge to transport. and I dont have Optimus Prime.
