I disagree on the Meatloaf's Anything for love. The Female vocals actually answer what he won't do when she says at the end of the bridge/call and answer: "and Sooner or latter you're be screwin' around'... song pauses....then Meatloaf answers emphatically: "No I won't Do that....etc." So the main answer is he'll always be faithful to her. Personally(as someone who is currently learning the lead parts to the songs from "Hardwired......To Self Destruct"), I still think that that album is very good and really fun to both listen to and play. The solos do leave something to be desired on some tracks, but the riffs that are distributed across the course of that album during the verses are more or less as good as they have been in this "second half" of Metallica's career. The original four/five albums can never be replicated, but that is because they are SOOOOO amazing. Beginning to listen to Death Magnetic for the first time, and I love that record too. :)

The recorded solo was one recorded solo. The thing about it was that David recorded a bunch of different solos and they cut and stitched them into one full solo on the demo and then he recorded the pieced together version for the final version of the song.

    • @alisonanthony1228
      @alisonanthony1228 4 ปีที่แล้ว

David always records lots of bits of solos - whatever he has in his head at the time - because he doesn't read music so records various licks and phrases so he can remember them later. Then he goes back and listens to them and pulls out whichever bits he likes and crafts them into a solo that fits the song. No "cut and shut" in the editing room.

They started off being signed in the late 90's as a "CoverBand" but eventually started putting out their own albums and in Spring 2017 Judas was #1 on the Rock charts and in countries they'd never been to/played in b4. Fozzy's frontman is a guy I've known 25 years by the name of Chris Jericho aka Le Champion aka former WWE SuperStar & Currently an AEW SuperStar, leader of the Inner Circle and was the 1st ever AEW Champion! (Jon Moxley beat him 4 the Championship in early pre-pandemic 2020)
Jericho also has a Journalism Degree which is BC he graduated at 17yrs old n was going to have to wait a year go to wrestling school. He also has what has to be one of if not the only Wrestler ran Podcast "Talk Is Jericho" as being the longest one going! Plus the podcast isn't just wrestling based. He interviews a lot of other people. He's on VH1 I❤ The 80's and 90's TV shows, like every version!
So again Chris Jericho is: A Journalist:Has and Runs his own Podcast,
A Pro-Wrestler & Lockeroom Leader, currently for AEW which has a weekly live TV Show : "AEW Dynamite on TNT @8pm-10pm.
He's also again the Leading Frontman for the band Fozzy!
Being that he has wrestled in front of 10's of thousands of ppl, going out on stage to sing has to be a hell of a lot easier especially that 1 million ppl or more aren't watching it at home live! But with the Talk is Jericho podcast, its pre-recorded and the magic of editing can happen and he's the interviewer, that journalist trying to get juicy stories for his audience.
A Rock Star, Wrestler, Journalist an all around G.O.A.T. Entertainer!

...and if you want a Hammett one, there's a doozy - the reason that Joe Satriani stopped teaching him is that apparently Joe would teach him licks and passages that he'd written for his next album, and they'd always end up on Metallica's next album before Satch could get his released.

As much as I like What Culture and the people on it, they've not really shown a wide range of tastes on this list -
Gorillaz - Pop Rock (in his own words)
    Megadeth/Metallica - Rock/Metal
    Lou Reed/Metallica - Rock
    Meatloaf - Rock
    Marilyn Manson - Rock/Metal
Hidden messages in, yep, you've guessed it - Rock/Metal.
Maybe employ someone who is in to 80s pop, classic hip hop, 90s indie and the rest instead of everyone being into the exact same stuff?
Anyway, keep up the good work!

Sorry Simon but you’re wrong. In the full song with the duet at the end Meatloaf specifically says what he won’t do. The females says “sooner or later you’ll be screwing around” and Meatloaf replies “ I won’t do that!” After saying things he will do.
