Can we take a moment to appreciate how good Jesse is on this track? While his cleans are really commendable, it's his screaming that's really blowing me away. This is a fast song, the fact that he's able to put infliction in his voice and go from growls to the high pitched screams so quickly is so impressive.
My favorite KSE track. Gives me goosebumps everytime. Thoughtful lyrics, brutally heavy at times, melodic. I love the atmospheric elements going on the latter part of the song. So fucking good. Round of applause.

This has to be my favorite off of Incarnate. Purely amazing. I like how Jesse keeps screaming "I still believe". Kinda like his reaffirmation of faith in God and the unknown in the face of an ever-agnostic world.

The great thing about music in general though is that the meaning is "in the ears of the beholder" I guess you could say. Some people hear things about God in Jesse's lyrics, whereas I hear something completely different, and that's awesome to me.

And more compared to most of the artists today releasing material that quite frankly, has been heard before or it's just generic crap.
