The VALUE'S, that is from white to black, and all the grays inbetween were carefully considered.to make the best presentation. In some cases directors wore special glasses that turned all colors into black, white, and gray. This is how they set the mood of the film. When you colorize you loose that careful and arduous planning. I respect the construction of a film as much as the story itself. I believe a film should be shown in the way in which it was filmed. I think it is unethical to colorize. I did not miss a good film, I found it in its original black and white. On this we agree. It is indeed a good film. 'I hope this explains what you refer to as a. "Silly Attitude."
