    I agree with with your comment about them being more "visceral" sounding. I recently upgraded from the Ananda OG, and tracks felt so much more... alive. Vocals sound so natural and real.😊

    Great review! How do you think it compares with he1000 V2? I own the he1000 v2 stealth and Arya stealth and the described differences between Arya stealth and Arya organic by you and other reviewers seem like the organic is similar to the he1000

      The only HE1000 I tried is the HE1000SE, which are still better, but not by much vs Arya Organic. HEKSE are a bit hotter sounding up top and are slightly more technical (clearer & faster) VS the Organic.

      @@Soundnews you helped me purchase the HE1000SE, with your review. With some tuning I got the HE1000SE to slam very nicely and got rid of the annoying quality of too much air, out of the box. I have to be honest, to my ear, out of the box they sounded incredibly thin (although clear and fast) I added a 6 dB bass shelf to them, with a very similar type of comedown between 100 and 200 Hz, as the graph shows for the Organic. I got rid of the air and hotness of the treble, by lowering the 5.9K - 8K area, targeting around 6.5K with a shallow Q, down by 2 - 3 dB (done with 2 filters in that area, using the RME ADI 2 Pro FS) I raised around 200 Hz - 1000 kHz by 1 - 0.5 dB with a ultra wide Q. They sound very dynamic now, are still clear overall and are Thumpy, close to the LCD-X, but much cleaner and clearer. Try out those settings

    A very informative and interesting take on the Ananda Nano, Sandu! From watching other 'Nano' reviews I'd have to say your take on them has been the most positive I've seen. And that's a good thing because your ear holes seem to have been cast from the same moulds as mine came from!!! Cheers!!

    Why no comparison between Organic and HEk V2/HEk Stealth as they are only $100 difference now? The HEk SE is $600 more so why compare that?? It's so frustrating as many in Fb groups and in forums are trying to decide between these two and there are about 8 TH-cam Organic reviews and not one is offering help with this decision.

      Watch Amplify Audio's review. (th-cam.com/video/_7JRmV-CDsE/w-d-xo.html)
      He does a little comparison in it, and it sounds like the Arya Organic pretty well obliterates the hd800 in every way. Monolithic soundstage, bass definition, tactility/texture... everything. I believe it too, considering how long the hd800 has been out, it doesn't surprise me at all that a lower cost headphone is capable of more.

    • @Skeith89
      @Skeith89 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Lost1ntheSauc3 nope according to Headfonia.
      These two are very different headphones, but in terms of bass and overall presence, the Arya Organic is very impressive. The HD800 S has great layering, soundstage, and spaciousness. It’s a matter of taste but I think if we compare straight technicalities, the HD800 S to me wins.

    • @Soundnews
      @Soundnews  ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I have the HD800S (not the original one). Arya is more resolving across the FR and it's also livelier/punchier sounding. The only thing HD800S does better is the lateral soundstage.

    Watched that one right after the FT5 review. I am a soundstage guy and much appreciate your thoughts on this topic including your comparisons.
    To me the most important thing in headphone sound is soundstage depth and layering as well as soundstage heighth, while i almost dont care for soundstage width and details. Natural timbre is important to me tho.
    I would go for a Hifiman as my next planar (already own a couple), but i am always afraid of their bright sounding and piercing treble as they are tuned for max. resolution. At least the ones i have heard.
    Is there an alternative regarding soundstage depth and overall soundstage size, that is tuned like an FT5 under 2k EUR?

Although Arya Organic will not change anything in their lineup and won't be able to compete with the higher end He1000 line...I think it's a welcome evolution. Not a big one, but a useful one. Still I clearly prefer Audeze Lcd-X for their punchy, musical, liquid and TRULY ORGANIC SOUND (😉), best in this class together with Hd800S. Arya is a combination between those two winner models without excelling at anything but doing most things quite good.
