    The Arya Organic are the best price-performance headphones ever constructed. Magnificent headphones. For the sake of clarity to all those contemplating purchasing the Organic, the treble is not excessively bright, metalic or sibilant. As a professional reviewer of Electronica/Techno, which incorporates more high frequencies than most genres, the Organic's high frequency reproduction never warranted EQ attenuation.

    In fact, not using wood is not only because of changing weight, but also because the wooden shell is prone to cracking. The earliest version of the hifiman he560 was made of wood, and soon after, a large number of he560s cracked.

      At least it's Veneer and not a vinyl wrap. It technically is real wood in that respect

    I listened to it a few days ago and compared it with very well-known headphones of the same or higher price range. This one blew me away 👍 and I will have it for my birthday 😉.

      The problem is that it’s bright and it isn’t as detailed as the HE1000 Stealth which is nearly the same price.

    • @TorstenWagner
      @TorstenWagner 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @Cujobob Yes, it's a hard choice, especially I can't compare both before buy (return them of course within a timeframe). I've seen many reviews and comparisons, and it seems like the Organic is good for EDM, Soundtrack, and Pop, while the HE1000 Stealth is better for Jazz, but not as good for EDM and Pop. The HE1000SE would outperform both, but it also costs €1.000 more.
      I own the 58x and tested the Sundara, which I liked but wasn't worth as a side grade. I tried the XS, but it sounded less detailed as the Sundara. A bit dull and not very engaging but a better bass and Sound stage than the Sundara. So the Arya Organic seems to have the combination of good detail and engaging sound with a good bass/subbass.

    • @sidfuel
      @sidfuel หลายเดือนก่อน

      thats the same i have read. organic better timbre for electronic and pop but also rock and metal.
      the 1000 stealth are best at instrumental or classic.
      here in europe the organic are 1050€ and i might buy these headphones. but would listen to a 1000 stealth.
      or audeze lcd x, it's a hard choice for a lot of money for me.
      one year later what headphone had you buy?

    • @3Schneewittchen
      @3Schneewittchen หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sidfuel I had to postpone it because of other purchases, but I bought the Edition XS a few weeks ago. It played really well with a very good system and the Cardas Cross after 150 hours of playing time. I recently discovered a WyWires Platinum cable and it plays absolutely magically with it, it's hard to believe. As my wife is also very enthusiastic, we'll be buying a Hifiman Audivina shortly. I'd like to hear the Organic at home for comparison, it will definitely be even better. The Audivina is closed, but is supposed to sound like an open one. That makes it interesting and I'm very excited. If you're interested, take a look at my homepage, it's all about our lovely hobby. Best wishes from Thomas 😀

    Great work. For me, the main point is that music is so much more real and enjoyable on the Arya Organic. They make the Focal Clear sound mechanical and not "right". They sound great on a DAC Dongle like the Questyle M15 and even better on the Holo Audio Bliss. Like you said, the Arya Organics make you remember why we buy gear in the first place. In case anyone thinks I'm just a rabid fan, I have never owner any headphones from them and I find them ugly. Experimenting with cables, the balanced Silver Dragon cable is too bright for me. The Meze copper 99 sounds very natural but lacks detail. Hoping that the Meze silver 99 fixes that.

    I bought the Organic’s and paired it with a Chord Hugo TT2. Break-in was brutal, 200hrs. Thought they or the TT2 were broken. Thankfully not. Bass punches you in the chest, Mids are neutral, and to my ears, the treble was airy. I keep hearing people experiencing these as bright with sibilance. Through the TT2, non off that is an issue, so be careful what you mate with it. Loving these. I had never used headphones before, until now, and I was determined to do it properly so I won’t be chasing that carrot, and throwing away money in my retirement. Loving these.

    Wait until you hear the Hifiman HE1000SE. It makes you wonder how it was possible that you couldn't imagine how much more resolution was possible over the Arya Organic and HE1000v2 Stealth (which has more clarity and resolution and holography than the Arya Organic but not nearly as much as the HE1000SE). Bought all 3. Had no choice but to keep the HE1000SE and return the others, even though it was $700 and $600 more than the others. Worth it 100 times over. Not even a contest. I've also heard the HE1000SE is even more sibilant than organic. It brings details on the cost of sibilance but ofcourse I haven't heard them to comment on it. If it's true tho, then it still comes down to preference between the two.

      Do you enjoy instruments that provide bass to a song like bass guitar? Or do you like the shrill and shawty instruments? I'm no musician but when I listen to Genesis the early one from like 9:82 they had a really good bass player. He went on to form the group. I think it was called Mike and the mechanics and to me that's the highlight of the song and I'm not a bassehead. I've gotten a IEM I returned it. People brag best budget. Incredible clarity when I got it. I knew what they meant by clarity shawty as if there were 5-year-old girls or young boys with loud voices. Shouting it didn't make the music better to me actually. So do you enjoy instruments to give the bass bass guitar? What type of music do you listen to? Have you heard of JM audio ecstasy open back to and the ecstasy clothes back 2.5

    The Arya 1st ed was a close 1st contender when I got started but the price of $1700 just didn't feel right. Seeing that they've come down to $1200 feels like its in the right spot of what I would call a fair price. Curious you said all metal chassis; have they upgraded the yokes to all metal over plastic? One other thing main reason that a lot of companies have moved away from the wood wrap around on the cups is that due to regions it often times lead to the wood cracking so using the fake wood look if at all is the preferred.
    This may have been over looked cuz the ZMF can's you have are all stabilized which will never crack due to dryness or lack of proper humidity balance of 40%. The down side is stabilized tend to be around 100g heavier but imo a lot more sexy. I was able to compromise w/ my Caldera's w/ the Redheart as they look stabilized but they are not. I live in south Texas so cracking even during the winter is a non-issue.

    • @Skeeb23
      @Skeeb23  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'll double check the yikes since you asked. Honestly these days companies have gotten very good with plastic and the hefty makes it easily mistaken for metal on first glance/touch. I thought it was just the cups that were plastic. I'll report back.

    • @heyguyslolGAMING
      @heyguyslolGAMING ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Skeeb23 The 1st Ed Arya yokes were pure plastic and ppl starting having issues w/ them breaking. HiFiman made corrections later which they implemented a metal interior armature to strengthen the plastic yokes which for the most part fixed the yoke problem. However, I personally would have still preferred metal yokes even at the cost of more weight.

    • @Skeeb23

      So I don't have the Nano any longer as it was just a loaner. The Arya is a definite upgrade. It sounds more natural. Both are detailed. Maybe you could make more informative video reviews if you base it in frequency response curve?
    I bought Organic week ago and this headphone is gorgeous but to review “is amazing and I love it” is not enough.
    There are three things in frequency response of organic to get Harman curve.
    1. Bases from 100 and lower less of 3-4 db.
    2. Upper middle has pit of 2 db.
    3. Upper treble 3-4 db higher(and I did not cease it because I like over bright in order to listen orchestral music)
    Adjust it on high level DAC and you will get the best sound in 1-2k $ range.
    My RME ADI 2 and Mojo 2 (except hole in upper middle ) made Organic perfect.
    And personally Mojo 2 with organic sounds better. Almost tube amp sound. It’s because of huge soundstage of Organic. But on another hand my Audezes headphones better spark with RME.
    Like to your video and thanks for sharing emotion. Next time I believe you will make better informative review.
    Peace 😉

      Greetings,
      First off thank you for the like and sub to my channel. It's important to know this much about me:
      I don't do measurements for reasons of my own and so I strive to put the extra thought into my own sound impressions before delivering a video. Also the build and comfort are another important aspect of headphones that need attention.
      I also don't subscribe to a curve but more of what a piece of gear sounds like to my ears to describe the best way I know how.
      There are plenty of other reviewers out there posting measurements out there as well.
      I do appreciate your comment and point of view.

    What do you think is the best pairing Dac/Amp for the Organic?

    • @Skeeb23
      @Skeeb23  ปีที่แล้ว

      Best? I can't comment on that unless I've heard them all, but the ADI2DAC pairs very well. You don't need a ton of power to drive them so even a Shit magni/modi would work. Do you have something in mind?

    First! Yeah I know, I'm 47 and I act like a 14yo😅
    Got an edition xs, powered by a mojo2. Arya O looking good.
    You think the mojo2 is enough to drive it?

      Yes definitely. They’re very easy to drive. For the price mojo2 would be my top pick

      Yes, what @kajetan9550 said. Easiest to drive Arya yet!

    oh look another china release. This is a hobby, and hobby needs to be interesting. Not sure about others but there is nothing interesting in a product from china because 1 simple reason: they do small changes and new version every year. Gear like HD600, Qtest, WA-6SE... are years and decades unchanged, because they are made with intend. they had a goal, they work to create their vision and there is no need to change it, and variation have their reason to co-exit on the market at the same time. That is cool gear. You buy these now and in 2 years will be 3 version old. The product is meaningless. Sure not only china brands are doing this but they push this to an extreme to the point I lose all interest just when I hear a product is made in china. Look at WOO Audio, Chinese guy, but he really understands what making a product mean, and that is more then a new version of a previous product.

      I really don't see how iterations of a headphone are a problem, especially when you start your complaint of one of the top headphone companies in the world with a condescending "oh great, another headphone from China". Not cool.
      Also not sure why youd rather a headphone have almost no iteration or improvement for like 25 years like an HD600. Im glad they still sell them because its still solid, but not every brand is going to make the most popular headphone of all time that will still sell decades later with only the smallest of changes. Hifiman is fantastic, but they dont have the brand loyalty of the casual audio audience in the west that Sennheiser does to do something like that.

      @kurt120032002 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PantsaBear you don't see it? ok assuming you never tested any of the 2 products... you meet 2 people and 1 has D90 dac... whatever 0,1 difference iteration, and another one has a Graham Slee Majestic. What of the 2 gear are you most interested in? When you flood the market with products, there is nothing interested about the products anymore, the small differences can be disregarded, everything is mostly the same. Sure you will find differences so you can say this product is more like this then that product but is really not interesting. Even if we talk about a well know product like Chord Qtest, it is still interesting to hear because sound improves with the source quality, so unless you use it stock or a 50$ iFi psu, most likely you still has something new to test. The only Chinese product that I would say it is interesting is Susvara because they made it with intent, they made it how they like it, and it is nothing to improve that merits a revision for a long time.
      Why I would have a long standing product like HD600? because represents an achieved idea for a sound signature, and the fact people still buy them it means it also represent a base to compare other products.

      Even the stealth before this one is now 999. It's a good direction to see them taking.
