This house screams young couple that make good money and always entertain their medium to large family. Living for it.
There's way too much sad beige hate honestly. As someone with autism, the sad beige aesthetic is so therapeutic for me. It's beautiful but doesn't have that extra busy colourful overwhelming feel of other decor styles
same here! i genuinely dont understand why people hate beige so much, to me beige interiors look so so cozy
Honestly same! Colorful designs full of clutter overwhelm me so much and a good sad beige aesthetic gives off such a calming and relaxing feeling.
Also white and wood accents feel so grounding and I’m all in for it

I like beige interiors if it’s not too over the top, like beige with another accent color like blue. It’s so cute and matches everything
Looks kinda French country style to me. Definitely dream house material. Watching Lil simsie builds has opened a whole new world for me with the columns and spandrels. I used to find them so intimidating.

As a french living in the countryside, I assure you it is not quite like our farmhouses. But it is really remind me of the english or dutch ones, with those grid windows.
Definitely looks cottage, my mom would love this lol she was ALL in on Shabby Chic in the 90s/early 2000s. I rebelled by getting more into dark modern irl lol but end up making a lot of quirky, colorful Victorians in the Sims. My fiance knows to slow down so I can take photos of houses I wanna make later in the Sims (we like to drive around places in Pasadena or Los Angeles and just look at homes)🤣
This is 100% goals for my fiance and I 😂 slowing down for pictures for sims build reference 😭❤ too wholesome

ive loved beige and browns and greens for soooo ling and im so happy the trend has finally shifted to these colors cause i can finally find so many things ive wanted for ages (also wall colors..oh my god it was impossible to find the shades i liked before) so do not feel bad about the beige-ing! 🤣
I love the house! Also, (just a suggestion) whenever you have too little space to put a computer, you can maybe build a little shed in the backyard and pretend the homeowners renovated the shed into an office! Saw it done in a renovating tv show once :)

What i dont understand about these 1bedroom houses is how do guests go to the bathroom? They go through the bedroom? Thats just weird to me im sorry 😭
Yep, I used to play D&D at someone's apartment that was like that & it was a little weird.
Someone tried to convince me that a flat with the same issue was perfect to move into. Who gets the bedroom with the bathroom? Either way, you're disturbing someone whos asleepor desperate to use the bathroom while they're....busy. 😂 the other way round you're waking up and get no real privacy
I live in an one bedroom apartment and to get to the bathroom is through the bedroom. It's annoying for guests especially my mom seeing my bedroom.
I've seen a few that have two doors into the bathroom, one connected to the bathroom and one to the hallway. I feel like that's the ideal way to include an on-suite bathroom.
I’ve seen some apartments that are literally just one room, with the bed being in the kitchen/dining/living room as well. I really hate the idea of people seeing my bedroom area right off the bat tbh, it feels like an invasion of my privacy.

Beige is BEAUTIFUL, its not sad or bad or boring. I personally love it. Beige makes houses feel welcoming, grounded, real and comfortable.

Nice house but disappointed at the opportunities missed: the flare in roofing above the door, mirror in the bathroom that the Sims 4 Tiny Living has (I think), the cabinets that probably would’ve been better from the new Horse Ranch Pack etc…

i would call the house at the beginning a modern clean farmhouse or french country style and also i LOVE the beige muted style homes whites, greys, beige, neutrals i love the simplicity, the calmness, everything about it. awesome build!!
She should do a build challenge where she can't use the color blue or beige, etc

I constantly do builds with neutral colors because its easier to do to make it all blend in then colors unless its a specific theme like a kids room.

I love it. You're so talented at building. I wish I could build like you. I wish they would make like a marble wallpaper and also floral where the swatches were different flower and colors, depending on the flower. How about Photo wallpaper where you could like take pictures of your Sim and they could become a Wallpaper, using like one panel, both narrow and wide.

The only thing I'd change in the build is the door is just flat on the bump out, but it really does add depth and interest having a door tucked into the covered front porch area like in the inspiration picture. I feel like Florida houses and AZ houses (in certain areas of both obvi) look VERY similar. When I moved to the PNW the house styles were sooooo different from what I grew up around, I was head over heels at first glance lol. I now NEED a cute dark little victorian house in the forest with moss all around and my life will be set lol. So yeah I completely get your exterior design crush being something so outside of the box from what you grew up around! I love this house it's stunning, the exterior the Interior was all gorg!!!

I like the sad beige ascetic sometimes, I generally prefer a more chaotic and a lot stuff with different colors, seeing a beautiful beige build is refreshing and calms my brain down

I love recreating irl things in the sims
As a non-American the first photo for me gives a "modern medieval fairy tale McMansion" vibe. I don't hate it but it's kinda soulless compared to real old cottages. I really like your build but my taste in the sims is pretty different to my irl tastes (partly because the building styles make ot quite hard to build in the style of very old cottages found in the UK, even Cottage Living isn't quite right.

Why have you put the door for the patio and for the bathroom in the bedroom? It's so inconvenient: there was plenty of space to put those elsewhere.
Then I think you could have used the second floor for a bedroom and a small bathroom.
