My Dad just called it Phelan back in the 60s.
Lol I live in phelan welcome to how awesome it is to ride
That's great I love going up Widowmaker hill just got a 2022 YZ450 FX my dream bike also brother! I moved to Arizona I used to go there all the time it'll be nice to go up on the FX compared to my old 04 YZ good times you went right up!🎉
Oh yeah and the last time I was there when we left the train tussles going up the dirt road I wasn't paying attention and almost went over the bars on one of the whoops looks like we both almost ate it on that road
All of us old timers rode there in the 60s/70s. We called it Honda valley. 😊
Now it's called Tijuana Donkey Show
Ya 80s, 90s, early 2000s was still known as honda valley
Yo it’s called Hill climb and super hill climb to all the locals
Yup hill climb. With the jump in the middle
Place looks beautiful. Dope trails too!
That is not and has never been honda valley. That is baldy Mesa ohv and it links you into the oakwood trails. Honda valley is on the otherside of the 15 and still exists. Your technically not aloud to ride it but I do. It has the best mtn bike trails in CA I believe.
Send me location
HMU next time you guys go I’m a local and know a lot better spots and trails
By the way, folks wear helmets even if you’re in a sxs and hand gestures when you’re coming across other riders or drivers on the trail. It’s so sad to see so many people are clueless out on the trail.
looks like a good time !!!!! ......................nice & safe & enjoying the sunshine ........oh yeah & breathing all that sweet dust !!!! .....................just sayin .....................:)
almost started off bad at 1:59 lmao, good save, haha That would of sucked scratching up that pretty new bike!
Cool video. Been wanting to check that place out.
I have to get to California to ride!!!!!!😎💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
looks fun man. Im actually headed there tomorrow! I know GoPros don't ever do it justice so im sure that place is even bigger than it appears.
Nice vid!!!
Yea man that place is great riding spot, my favorite spot as of right now !it’s about an hour from where you park to widows peak with stomping half way and taking a water break stay hydrated!
@@4fitty damn, that may be a little too far for a solo ride. Nice to know though bro🤙🏼
Put your elbows up higher and chin above the bars and you will have better control. Yall look sketchy on the bikes, lol.
can i ride my motorcycle with a red sticker in this place
What camera are you using? I have the GoPro 7 or 8 and isn't that smooth.
I have the 9
Damn I grew up there, nice save on missing the ditch! haha. Grab a bigger gear n lug more, will make it easier 👍🏽
Great climb!
Are the trails marked? ...............or how do you navigate to the widowmaker? I wanna check it out!!
Yea there’s a fire road you follow all the way to the big hill, I park under the bridge where the train passes exit off of 138
@@4fitty , Thanks for the info Brotha, I'm gonna go soon. Looks too fun!!!
Hwy 15 to the 138 west, go past hwy 2 to the Phelan turn off. Make a right on Nielsen road go to Johnson rd. Make a right and go straight up until you hit the hill. Can park the truck right at the bottom of it. Locals take our trucks down it 😉.
