Thanks for such an in depth explanation. It would definitely help to see the layers dry after the cutting... to know if those are even the layers you're going for. Thank you.
I'm sure there are some newbys that need that little extra instruction as not to mess it up.. Thanks for the EXTRA for those who have no idea. Blessings to you , your hands and family...❤
So many ways to layer hair...this is my "go-to" way to layer almost every type of hair...I hope you enjoy. Let me know if you try it and how it turns out.
Thanks for explaining step by step! You wouldn't believe how many tutorials I've watched that claim they will teach a technique in detail but end up skipping around, taking for granted that the viewers understand what they're doing, to the point where I end up completely lost at what was done between steps 5 and 7! You also take it slow, which may bother some people but the slower you go and the more often you repeat what you're doing, the easier it is for the student to remember it. P.s. Has anyone ever told you how much you look like the actress Diane Lane? You two could be sisters! Thanks 🩷
You just said it all. I have been to 3 beauticians in one month. Starting with 30" all one length hair I just wanted some simple layering for movement and bounce. $300 later my hair is about 2" long with big chunks that don't match anything. I am devastated. I have never left a salon satisfied! Why are ppl cutting hair that don't know what they are doing??
New subscriber❤Thank you I have a long lob or bob with no layers at all how could I get some movement and texture in my hair My hair is basically a little below my shoulders in the front pieces go into a point could I still use this technique on my hair or how would it look or should I do it a different way?
If the girls hair is extremely thick and also needs thinning, would that ruin the work of the layers youve just done? (I have also watched your thinning video! Trying to learn how to do just a nice layered basic cut for my teenage cousin who can't go get her hair done)
It would not ruin your layers. I do this technique a lot. Cut the layers into the hair. Dry it. And then go through with your thinning shears. You can also use your feather razor to thin out the hair exactly where the bulkiness is. (Video coming soon). 💕😊 Thanks for watching.
