    Fun facts:
Kex Choklad - The crumb layers between the wafers and chocolate are made from “faulty wafers” so nothing goes to waste in production.
Polly - has another red bag variant with milk chocolate and is a bit sweeter. And every year they make a few limited versions of different taste combos that is popular here in Sweden.
Ahlgrens Bilar - Even though it’s three different colours it’s the same taste, but every other Swede swears that it’s different flavors.
Djungelvrål - the exterior of the candy is salmiak and salty in taste but if you suck that away the interior candy is sweet liquorice.

I'm Swedish, and I just moved to Ireland earlier this year after 14 years in Spain. In Spain we had access to Swedish sweets and snacks, including various types of liquorice, and even though liquorice has always been my number one sweet I had no idea how much I would actually miss it because good liquorice just doesn't seem to exist in Ireland (not that I've found so far at least and what I've found so far I wouldn't even call licorice). Some days I almost want to cry because I miss it so much. So whenever I go to Sweden or Spain my number one priority of things to bring back to Ireland is liquorice, preferably salty, but also some sweet.

4:54 There is a bigger version of the classic "Bilar". They're called "Bilar Limosiner" which is...you can probably guess... Limousines. And there is an even bigger one called "Grillbilar" ("Grill cars") to be used more like marshmellows.

The highest bid gets the autographed item.
Proceeds from the "TRY Auction" can be donated to a random childrens' charity

We have larger versions of Bilar; limousines and a marshmallow variant meant to be grilled over fire.
However, I think the best way to eat bilar is to take a small fistfull and eat them all at once. You get more flavour out of them that way. Same thing with Polly.
And you're supposed to suck off the salt first off the djungel vrål before you chew it.

You can't eat KEX that way! If you break it apart then you can taste the bread layers more and it'll taste drier than it is. You have to take a proper bite of it. The outer layer is only chocolate for a reason! The best part about KEX is that it isn't only chocolate. The bread makes it somewhat lighter and not as overwhelmingly sweet. I love KEX, if you couldn't already tell. And of course it's funny when others try djungelvrål, stress on others because I hate it too🤣

You are a legend Robin, skål! Great selection of our snacks! I'm glad Collin remembered that they were the stuff mixed in to the Plopp chocolate, they were mixed in because they are such popular sweets over here. Love all of it, though I don't buy Djungelvrål as they get rather boring once the coating is gone. I also don't eat the licorice in Gott och Blandat, cause what's the point without the delicious salmiak salt. If I'm going to eat licorice, it needs to be explosive.
One of these years if I have spare cash I'm going to send in the saltiest licorice on the market, and tell them to view it like a spice challenged
so they don't just spit it out. I want to see a tryer get through a svenskjävel xDD (svenskjävel = swedish devil, saltiest licorice that exists, according to the company)

I am Swedish and when I get a Djungel vrål, I usually let the saliva flow to rinse of the salt, spit that out, so that I can enjoy the pure liquorice flavor. The liquorice in those are outstanding after the salt is gone. But I usually buy 100% pure liquorice without salt. Salt is not needed, but what I truly detest is Sweet liquorice. If you add sugar to liquorice you totally destroy the flavour of it. Besides it is usually 20 other ingredients that comes with the sugar. This means that sweet liquorice usually contains less than 20% actual liquorice, many times far less than that.

There's also the fact that when non-Scandinavians try liquorice it's usually salty liquorice, typically Djungelvrål. You seldomly see people try sweet liquorice or the flavour coated ones.
Sweden and Denmark have companies that make probably the finest liquorice candy in the world, and many miss out on what the producers of premium liquorice have to offer

The thing that is a bit of a problem when people try liquorice from Sweden is that its typically Djungelvrål and/or the one from Gott&Blandat. Would love to see them try premium liquorice from brands like Nordiskt Lakritskök, Narr Chocolate or Kung Markatta (the sweet and salty liquorice from Kung Markatta is heavenly let me tell you).
