    If you’re looking for a temporary sleep product you can use inside and out, look no further than the Coleman Airbed Cot. We recently got our hands on the queen-size model, and I was highly satisfied not only with the comfort and support it had to offer but also with its consistency in maintaining its stability throughout the night.
    Aside from the fact that the cot keeps the air mattress off the ground, just a few other great features I think you’ll enjoy include:
    Optional cup holders with storage space for small items like keys
    Convenient duffel bag complete with wheels
    Durable mattress that did a great job at maintaining shape and firmness
    Many air mattresses are made with indoor use in mind, so this was a breath of fresh air as our family does like to go camping. However, it can be used inside, too, and I appreciated the versatility.
    A Temporary Bed That Should Last for Awhile
    While there are plenty of air mattresses you can purchase for under $100, many of them don’t last and are prone to excessive air loss. By increasing your initial investment, you should be able to enjoy a temporary air bed that lasts for awhile. Just some of the indicators of good durability with the Coleman Airbed Cot include:
    Mattress remains off the ground away from puncture dangers
    ComfortStrong coil construction
    Constructed using waterproof materials
    Quality storage case
    Over the course of the next seven minutes, we’re going to take an in-depth look at our experience and report what you can expect if you decide to buy one of your own.

    Great review! Lots of critical points covered and helpful suggestions like using a protective mattress cover to help keep the attached Coleman cover clean. Just curious should the air mattress itself fail (ie. unrepairable leaks), can another air mattress like the Intex 9" queen mattress be used as a substitute?

  • @danielletabone7731
    @danielletabone7731 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    My concern is that the frame doesn't lock in place. It seems like if you sit on a corner or an edge it would collapse. Has anyone had this happen?

  • @graphicsdewd
    @graphicsdewd 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Assuming weight isn't an issue (as for a combined total, we're under 500 lbs.) does anyone know if this could hold 3 people and sleep comfortably enough for camping without anyone feeling like they're going to roll off the edges? A regular queen mattress isn't an issue at home but for camping, if this has too much rounding on the edges, it may not work. Just curious if any other throuples have suggestions or insight if this model is adequate.

    I'm looking to purchase this just for the cot/frame and would put a real memory foam mattress on it when we have guests. Any reason you think I couldnt use a heavier memory foam mattress instead od the air mattress? Does the frame rock at all when you move around on the bed or is it pretty stable? Thanks for the review!

    • @Thesleepjudge
      @Thesleepjudge  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This frame was pretty solid. I don't think you'd have a problem there.

      I can't find that specific mattress, but, as long as it's queen and similar in thickness, it should be fine. This is an example: www.coleman.com/quickbed-elite-queen-extra-high-airbed-w-4d-bip/2000018365.html?cgid=coleman-sleepingbagsandbeds-airbeds#start=9

    42 pounds? When camping you want to carry as little weight as possible. 42 pounds just for a sleeping arrangement is too much weight to hauling around.

      There are many forms of camping Mr. Intelligent Not....
      This would not work for primitive camping were you need to hike a distance. This would be good for camping trips that don't involve walking great distance...

      @phill1491 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I just bought this cot for me and my wife to glamp out our car camping in a 10x10 canvas tent that weighs 70 ish pounds. Throw in a camp chef, a table, 55 quart cooler, power station etc and we've easily got a few hundred pounds. But if you're just driving up to the campsite it sure makes a few days out in the woods supremely comfortable! But yeah, it's not going into my backpacking gear lol.

    • @Justadayinthelife327
      @Justadayinthelife327 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's so true! I've used a twin Coleman air mattress bed, for 3 months now! My spine wakes up feeling sore! Now I must purchase something like a small twin bed, with a good mattress ! Plus that red battery air pump that comes with the Coleman twin bed , doesn't inflate that well! It's slow, and leaves way to much slack in the mattress. I had to go buy a electric operated air pump, just to get that mattress to expand to a tighter, fuller, firm feeling!
