Early Morning Fishing at Merimbula Lake

- I'm without a car for the next few days, so I walked over to Merimbula Lake for some early morning fishing over the weekend. Plenty of action, but not the size I was hoping for, but that should change soon with the warmer water heading down the coast.

Had no choice over the weekend, flat tire on the car and it won't get fixed until tomorrow, but nice to have a place within walking distance. Might give the rocks and wharf a shot this week if the weather holds. Thanks as always for the kind words and hope you had a great weekend!
That boardwalk along the water edge looks great for a morning walk. Non-stop little fish still makes for a fun time fishing

Been told by the guys at the tackle shop they are moving in and did see a couple over the weekend. Not sure of the fish, another creator from the States made me the logo.

A little bit more darker colour to the water. When it’s clear like you were fishing in the fish can see you also. That’s what me a my friends have found over the years. Try fishing in a little darker water and see if that might help?

unfortunate about the missed fish on the bigger rod, still another great video all in all 🎣
Going to keep trying, seems to be a few bigger fish moving into the lake now, so it shouldn't be much longer.

Actually tried that the day before and didn't get a touch. Been some seals lurking of late, might have something to do with the lack of bigger fish in that area.
Seals still there mate?
Didn't see any over the weekend, but they were around big time last week.
