As a native Pacific Northwesterner, Beads and Salmon Eggs are the way to go when going for Salmon dude. They LOVE them. That and dyed Shrimp. Everyone uses them because it's a guarantee always that you'll at least get yourself a bite or two. King Salmon are most commonly referred to as Chinook from Oregon north through Alaska unless you're a transplant or tourist 😂. Chinook, King and Blackmouth are the three names. For a fun(nny) fact: I used to call Kokanee Salmon as "Cocaine" Salmon because I went with the "sound it out" rule 😂. Coca-nee is the correct way to say it I found out in like... 2017. Somehow. Cocaine Salmon haha. Also for anyone who wants to know, Kokanee is landlocked Sockeye. My bucket list Salmon to catch is a big Male Chum Salmon though. @@robhubble3992 Everyone I know as well as heard from Washington says Chinook, so that's likely a group trait of those you fish with.
