Were I grow till I was 12 years old ,we would walk to the beach 8 kids all under the age of 13 yrs . On our summer break . Knowing what would happen on our return, their is always that one neighbour wood watch dog lol , were are you kids coming from , oh I see going to tell on all of you . My nanny would go to the market in town we would run to the beach for hours . The funny thing was to cross that major road two at a time ,holding hands till we all made it . We could hear the waves smell the water such good memories. With all that beating we all got lol we still went back .i still go back to my child would home Portmore .so blessed. Love your videos

Angela Richards :: There’s also an Alligator 🐊 Pond. Lady when we were young men, looking back now. We were so not thinking 🤔. Some would say down right stupid. Going to those places at nights. Catching Crabs 🦀. Walking there and back. Not even thinking of what was lurking in those bushes and water ways.

Best place to catch crabs in the late 50’s up until the early 70’s like about1972. We walk from Jones town to go there and the surrounding areas. Get there I’m the dark. Helshire Hills . But at times you could hear or see the Crocks. We were young and crazy

Great video and drone shot but if you look closely you can see the amount of raw untreated sewage that is emanating from the pond into the bar mouth and into the pristine waters of our belo
beloved south coasts it's a shame that we as a people stand by and let them who say they are a government who should be for the people and by the people destroy our eco system our food system is destroyed we are being pushed further and further away to fend and find food for ourselves ,when i was a boy that pond was lifeblood of our community old and dumbeholden and its environs all the sewage that comes from greater portmore and several other communities is going into that pond we must have the authorities do something about it before its gets worse we must demand that the sewage plant greater portmore be rehabilitated and maintained so we do have a epidemic of viruses because fishermen still look there livelihood in the pond and sell back the fish to the community
