Just wanted to say how great it is you decided to take up finding out how good but boring the Hornet F7a Mark2 was and found it is S tier! And that the Fury is beyond S tier. And that M50 is great as a team.
18:04 I still trying to understand the pre turn manoeuvre... How do you know when to apply it? Do you read the actual relative velocity of the incoming ship and you are like "he is coming in hot?" - or are there other visual ques that Im missing?
Lead turn, can secure up hand position, but the guy who chooses last dictate if geometry will be 1 circle or 2c . This is modern combat merge, do it apply to space combat?
@@tomcatvrkalisz820 fighters in SC can pitch at 50 degrees or more a second. Coupled with 10+ G's of thrust always available from the main thruster and the concept of the one-circle isn't meaningful (minimum radius turn is 0 for spacecraft with 6 degrees of freedom). You could call some scenarios two-circle but they are better off just described as rate-fighting since you'd be pushing and pulling distance so frequently it wouldn't look like a circle. This is what happens when real life fighter maneuvers are dominated by lift and the incentive to conserve energy. Current SC is dominated by thrust and doesn't care about maintaining energy since max speed is so low compared to available acceleration

Those flyby sound effects are just so bad man 🤣
