Hehe I hope you enjoy this surprise game drop!! BioShock has been recommended so many times and I think it will be a perfect game to end October with! Make sure to LIKE the video if you enjoyed it, so I know you want to see more!
I'm glad you are playing one of my favorite series. I hope you continue on with Bioshock 2 and it's great DLC "Minerva's Den". It is my favorite of the series.
@FloydFp I'd like to second this comment that the DLCs for the trilogy are incredible, although I haven't played Burial At Sea from Bioshock Infinite yet. Getting 100% on Clash in the Clouds took a lot out of me lol.
@@jeremiah1.772 Burial at Sea is definitely worth playing. It was great to be back in Rapture. The whole alternate universes in Infinite made the whole story confusing though.
I love this game. The lore is interesting. A bit of lore on Andrew Ryan that isn’t a spoiler. Andrew Ryan was a Belorussian immigrant who moved to the U.S. after the Russian Revolution. His family owned a big business but that was taken away when the Soviets took power. The Bolsheviks also murdered his aunt and uncle during the revolution. He fled to Constantinople with his father and he later immigrated to the U.S. in 1919 because he saw the U.S. as a place of opportunity. The Bolsheviks in Russia led him to hate the Soviets because they destroyed his family. After moving to the U.S. he began working on businesses. He owned a large portion of the oil and coal industry in America and owned the second largest train company. He became one of the wealthiest people in the world in the 1920s and he survived the crash of 1929 continuing to be a very wealthy man into the 1930s. He saw FDR’s New Deal and he was beginning to dislike the way the U.S. was going. He felt like the New Deal was going to lead America to become just another Soviet Union. He owned a large forest where he would have his retreat. A religious organization said the land belonged to God and protested for his forest to become a public park. The U.S. government was taking action to make Andrew Ryan’s forest a public park. This action made Andrew Ryan lose it. He now hated the U.S. and all religious groups along with the Soviets. He proceeded to burn down his forest in defiance. When the atomic bombs were dropped in WW2 it was his final straw. He saw that as the absolute corruption of his ideals and because of it he set out to build a Utopia later named Rapture. He had enough of people taking what he felt was rightfully his and decided to build a city where other like minded people could join him in their own society where anybody could make their own business empire and not worry about others taking from it. A city free of law and free of religion. Well as you see his “utopia” isn’t really perfect and something caused its downfall.
Bioshock literally is one of the most weirdest games ever. Its old school ambience, setting, characters are somewhere in between horror, thriller, drama, fantasy, comedic and downright absurd at times. And I love it 🤣🤣
I remember the thrill of playing Bioshock for the first time - it’s such a unique experience with an unforgettable style. Watching your first playthrough brings back all those emotions, and it feels like I'm rediscovering Rapture alongside you. Thank you for sharing this journey with me!
I've watched so many people play this game, but I'm SO HAPPY that you're playing it. Your knowledge of pop culture and your attention to detail makes it a joy to watch you play and appreciate this game. I'm only 30 minutes in, but you noticing all of the artwork and signs, and actually paying attention to the controls and how to use your weapons is a breath of fresh air. You're killing it, Liz. 🙌
I really appreciate you and the kind comment!! It's so fun to play a game where I can really pay attention to those details and have a connection with it! It's been so awesome so far!
So awesome!! Love this game! Please No Spoilers everyone, this game is so incredible and we don't want to rob Liz of the magic That intro to Rapture is phenomenal! Chills!

i played a Bioshock game a long time a go on an old laptop, can't remember much of it though but i remember liking the surrounding Yellowish environment and the 1960's music
So excited that you are playing this game, which is one of my faves. I love the atmosphere and getting to learn what is going on in this world. Seeing the Big Daddy and Little Sister always gives me chills. Enjoy the ride Liz!
I´ve been waiting for this playthrough... TY for doing it. 3:21 Well kindda. Hitting undesturbed water, is the equivilant of hitting a solid concrete slap. So, not soft but it gives away after the impact.
In Rapture’s depths where shadows creep, A flash of Yellow, secrets keep. Amid the chaos, a fleeting glow, A memory of joy in the undertow. Splicers dance in manic glee, Yet hope persists, a silent plea. Yellow whispers of what was lost, A beacon bright amidst the frost. Will it cost her? (you)
I've been trying to listen but now I realized I need to play them and not move around haha I'll definitely pay more attention to that in future episodes
I am currently watching your Skyrim playthrough, on ep 5. Thats how i found your channel. Only playing Skyrim for the first time myself at the mo. But Bioshock is still be one of my favourite games ever. Such amazing visuals, i remember playing it when it first came out. Really enjoying your playstyle, hope you enjoy Bioshock as much as i did
I just started your video and already I'm so excited! The Bioshock games will always hold a precious and reknown place in many a true gamer's heart! They're from a time when the limits of technology and video games had yet to be as accepted as it is today, so creators were obligated to use well written stories, music, innovative gameplay, and have an actual interest in making something FOR the gamers.. not just for the gamers to buy. Awesome to see someone new experience this epic of massive proportions, I can not express the amount of jealousy I have for you. Now.. would you kindly enjoy this to the maximum! Good fortune and good hunting 😂
Nice choice! Can't wait to see this playthrough. In case you haven't figured it out yet, you can hack the security cameras by zapping them first with your electric attack. That will disable them for a couple of seconds so that you can get close to them. If they're high up on the wall, you'll need to jump first before starting the hack. There are only a few cameras in the entire game that are actually out of reach, even when they're way up above you. Once the camera is hacked, enemies will trigger them and the security bots will attack the enemies in the area but be friendly to you. This can be helpful later in the game when you're facing more than just one or two enemies at a time. You can also hack turrets as well which, again, is helpful in some areas.
@Minion_of_Cthulhu to piggyback off your comment it's not necessary to shock cameras before hacking them. Also shocking takes a lot of Eve, but using Decoy to hack security is far more cost efficient.
Hey Liz I'm excited to see you play this game it made my day yellow with happiness haha, also you can electroshock enemy machines to hack them and make them allies, also don't forget to listen to the diary from dr Stinemans area it's interesting you'll know which it is. Keep it up.
Finally finished watching. Long day. Had to take my son to the doctor (he's fine...just stuff for school). I was waiting to see how you'd handle "the choice" when you first came to it. Never a doubt in my mind, haha. One small tip, remember that ALL machines can be hacked...not just healing stations and vending machines. This is one of the biggest reasons Electro Bolt is my favorite plasmid. Incinerate and Telekinesis are ok, but Electro Bolt buys you time to make your next move...which is crucial as the game's difficulty ramps up. Even if you're using guns, zap and shotty is a great combo. Also, secret magic word: what is Coldplay's first big hit...or Ringo's preferred submarine color. 🙂
I’m currently playing through the series as well. It’s been amazing! Looking forward to the rest of your playthrough. Loving it so far. Your puzzle solving skills have me a little jealous. I was constantly getting zapped. 😂

Some hacks seem too quick because they were primarily intended for Mouse & Keyboard, where you're much faster with clicking pipe segments all over the place.
As you've noticed you can't pick everything up. Cigarettes and drinks are automatically consumed. When you look at an item in the world, the prompt that comes up tells you whether you'll pick it up or eat/drink/consume it outright.
Ahhh thank you!! I was hoping I could do that since sometimes they don't play because other things or going on or it gets so chaotic that it's hard to pay attention!

Some of the music is copyrighted, unfortunately. I had put up a few episodes of Bioshock on YT and in some of them the music parts were muted by YT after a while.
@@LizXPi CAN tell Liz, your Dad looks like he knows his metal and you mention the same music i like. i've heard you mention in a past livestream, that you're getting a bit shy to sing, i'm a professional musician and though i play guitar and not really vocals, i can say you have a very smooth feminine voice perfect for singing and i havent heard you sing bad yet, i don't drink anymore either but if you wanted to do metal vocals just chain smoke and down some whiskey lol :D, I would never break the chain. I have one i Hope you will Love, Deftones - Diamond Eyes
I don't know. I feel like I'd rather be on a crashing plane on land. You either die in the crash itself or have a tiny chance at actually surviving. If you crash in the ocean you either die immediately or you drown.
Loved your reactions to the mechanics of Bioshock. But please, listen to the diaries when you get them, as the story is a lot of what Bioshock is about. And while listening, I recommend not moving, as events, or enemies, may cut the audio of the diaries off mid diary. Also, Skyrim and Bioshock are quite different kind of games. Bioshock is far more linear, and less about exploring and looting everything. But some exploration is advantagous, but as you will come to realise, too much exploration of the beaten track may make you miss things, or get lost. And storing your Bioshock videoes in a playlisit, makes it easier for your viewers to keep track of your Bioshock videoes and watch them, among other youtube content they watch. Also, be very mindful of spoilers in the comments. Since Bioshock is very story focused, spoilers may ruin the game.
I'm so glad the diaries save because I was definitely thinking that I was missing so much story because chaos is happening all around me while I'm trying to listen 🤣
@@LizXP The diaries do save yes. But they are often about characters and things within a certain vicinity of where the diary was found. Thus one may easily get confused when listening to them later, in regards to which character, or story event, that spesific diary was about. I generally tend to listen to the diary as soon as possible after finding them. Of course one has to deal with the enemies before one can listen to the diaries uninterupted. But I also get how players get an overload of impressions early in this game, as it is quite artistic and atmospheric (the music is top notch). Adding a bunch of enemies on top of that, it can become quite much at times. So I generally play it quite slowly compared to many, as I like to look at most things in the levels, and get every piece of story and lore. I also hope you will play Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite, along with the dlc for those games. The DLC for Bioshock Infinite should be a must play.

Some of the music is copyrighted, unfortunately. I had put up a few episodes of Bioshock on YT and in some of them the music parts were muted by YT after a while.

Appreciate you!

Thank you! :)
Fun fact: did you know the colour yellow means cheerfulness and happiness but also signifies fear and jealousy?
I love the color yellow 💛 it's my mom's favorite! Thank you for the fact Robbie 🤗
Great game
It's so good so far! Loving it!
When you drink any type of alcohol (whiskey, vodka etc) you gain a little health but loose a little EVE. Smoking is the other way around.
Thank you! :)
Kashmir - Led Zep ❤
Let's go! Such an incredible song! Music is always on my mind if you can't tell 😅
I have one i Hope you will Love, Deftones - Diamond Eyes
hi, welcome !
Happy Monday Bob!!
I don't know. I feel like I'd rather be on a crashing plane on land. You either die in the crash itself or have a tiny chance at actually surviving. If you crash in the ocean you either die immediately or you drown.
True and no sharks! 😅
W liz
Thank you! :)
I forgot about the PipeMania mini-game
So stressful sometimes haha
Who's your Big Daddy? Caught me off guard on this one, bur not at all disappointed.👍
Lmao right?? I felt a little weird saying it! Happy Monday Rob!
The DLC for Bioshock Infinite should be a must play.
looks like I missed the secret word.
I guess you can get away with it this one time Bud ;) hehe jk You rock!
What happens if you harvest her
I think we would earn Adam which is money to buy items in the game but I could be wrong, since this is a blind playthrough I'm not sure :)
No way you're 33. You look 20
