thanks for this great video! Unfortunately my ear is not very good with English and I couldn't understand everything, so I would like to ask you something. Next August I am going to visit LA for the first time, we are going to reserve a Thursday all day to visit an amusement park, I like intense roller coasters. With the normal pass (not flash). Can there be very long waiting times on a Thursday in August? If so, is Knott's Berry Farm Park worth visiting? Thanks in advance!
If you want roller coasters, Knott’s Berry Farm or Six Flags Magic Mountain. During summer (August), regardless, you’ll be better off going on a day during the week as opposed to the weekend.
@@explorationthemeparks Thank you very much for your response, I appreciate it. Yes, the day assigned to the theme park will be a Thursday, maybe a Wednesday. I will also consider the option of the other park if it also has good roller coasters. Without the flash pass during the week are the times to the attractions relatively short? In a whole day do you have time to try most of them?
Yeah we arrived after rope drop. I know it typically has a long line, especially at opening since it’s at the front, however, one train ops definitely makes the line MUCH longer
Supposedly revolution second train went to riddler mind bender at Six Flags Over Georgia which makes no sense why they would send it there when that ride doesn’t get a massive line like revolution
Six flags magic mountain… my home park …. What a disappointing year for sure ! The park looks awful … the 1 train ops are terrible …. So many rides are down! I just came back from great adventure and everything was open … the park looked beautiful and they had 2 trains on Almost everything. Magic mountain is falling in my rankings … the sad truth
First time watching your vids. I'm going to have to watch your Cedar Point vid, as it's my home park. Magic Mountain is definitely on my bucket list. But your video confirmed some of my fears about booking a 2 or 3 day trip. I fear I'll fly from across the country to MM and everything will be closed or one train ops. Since MM is your home park, what time of year are most of the coasters open, with the smallest crowds? Or best time of year to visit overall?
Thanks for watching! Typically, most rides would be open during the summertime, but after this year, I don’t even know anymore lol. The crowds are lower during winter, but that is typically when they will close certain rides for refurbishment.
I ironically find summer time as not the best time to go. Yes it's peak season but I find that it's also the parks favorite time of year to take coasters out of commission long term for rehab. It's also when the park is the most busy. I highly recommend spring time. That's when you will have the most luck with open coasters. What you should also know is the way the park is operating this year is extremely out of the ordinary when compared to years past.
I’m going this Friday for regular day then out on the mountain pride night event from 6pm-12am and it’s a shame how this park is being run it certainly puts the idea of people never returning to the park if it’s being ran like this 2 years ago this wasn’t the case
Yeah it’s definitely a shame and frustrating. I always talk about new rides they could use, but in reality, they need to fix their current operations first
You’re moving the camera around waaaay too much and too quickly. Had to stop watching after the first couple of minutes as it was making me feel seasick.
Yees very beautiful I am also enjoy this place
i live in the valley 30 minutes away from six flags I go there all the time during my teen years this is so much nostalgia seriously

I think you should be fine, especially if you’ll be there all day. You can always purchase the fast pass while you’re at the park if you wanted to.
Curious when you arrived at the park because new revolution already had a long line. Guessing you were there after rope drop?

Hmm that would be odd!

Agreed…and it has potential to be a world-class park…
The ending was on point with my own version of our theme song 😝

Thanks for the info!! Is there any way to know which rides are down on any given day? Like a ride info kiosk in the park, or list online?

TAke Me 😍

I’ll keep that in mind! Thank you
Magic Mountain, you can do better. You need to remaine the Thrill Capital of the World.?🎢🎡
Yeah, I’m hoping they figure out their operation issues sooner than later…
Thrill Capital of the World?
Not anymore
