    This was enjoyabe to watch. I finally understand exactly what Frederick Herzberg two-Factory theory is about. Certifications like CIA-Certified Internal Auditor should consider presenting their materials like this. Thank you so much!!

      1. Difficulty in separating hygiene factors and motivators neatly.
      2. Theory reflects on universal and standardisation, which is often untrue due to cultural and individual differences. Some people might value extrinsic reward (hygiene factors such as pay) as motivators, especially in countries with lower standard of living.

  • @litatjie
    @litatjie 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I've watched 5 videos on this theory. It's sooooo boring after 5 videos I still can't figure it out. I'll just stick to Maslow, simple and interesting. Done.

  • @mienzillaz
    @mienzillaz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Herzberg's theory is wrong on many levels. First of all, look at the methodology he used to make these conclusions.. he asked whooping 200 people, secondly ask any sales guy if more money do not drive their performance/motivation.. all of this make it as valid as flat earth theory.. thank you and good luck following this teaching on your daily basis..

    • @oladeleabass3370
      @oladeleabass3370 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You know why it is called a theory???
      Because it is amenable, come up with critiques, defend it and you have a counter theory too.
      No theory is perfect nor totally useless
