The Non-Canon Expert describe Dooku's unique vision of the Galactic Empire and explains how it was different than Darth Sidious' vision and what ultimately was put in place.
sometimes I feel sorry for dooku
I know what you mean LB, it's always his last moments before Anakin that get me. It probably has to do with Christopher Lee's exceptional acting more than anything, but there definitely is a sadness to Dooku's end. I greatly appreciate the support and hope that you enjoyed the video.
How could you kill him? The expression on his face. Even after everything he'd done, I still couldn't kill him.
He got royally screwed.
#DookuDidNothingWrong
I feel like Anakin and Dooku would have been friends if they sat and talked about things
Palaptine just twisted him, Dooku held similar ideals to Anakin
SWAG POLICE I was thinking the same. Perhaps even, Dooku could've been The Chosen One; he saw the imbalance of the force, as the Jedi represented the Republic and not the will of the force, and he knew that Sidious wasn't too great for galaxy.
Yub yub!
SWAG POLICE I think it's quite obvious. Anakin was an extention of Jinn and he himself was Dooku's padawan. I'm sure that in peace time and without Sidious, Dooku would be even better friend of Anakin, than Kenobi.
I wouldn't say so, Anakin always had this "need for control" undertone which might of been created when being a slave for so long. I mean Anakin even told Padme about politics "Well they should be made to."
Kinda hard to ignore how he felt.
Anakin had ideals?
@@TheAlmightyAss He had one ideal only... loyalty to close ones
I find Dooku's idea for an empire far more interesting than the Original Trilogy.
I find it just as intresting, and more Star Wars like than the Disney movies. They should have taken notes and made a sith bring Mr. Dukes version of the empire to life.(After the Vong war)
My personal head-canon will always be Dooku as a tragic villain, who was disillusioned by the Jedi's failings, and genuinely wanted to make the Galaxy a better place, but also allowed himself to be fooled into thinking he was a step ahead of Sidious. I believe, if Obi Wan had joined him, or if Qui Gon had lived to counsel his old friend, that Dooku would have been redeemed, and would have made a solid attempt to overthrow Sidious. He still wanted a revolution, and still planned for the galaxy to be run through authority, and may have even found some things to be admired in the Sith, but I believe he wanted to be more of a benevolent dictator than a tyrant. Though that kind of power corrupts, so who knows what he would have ended up becoming a decade or two down the line. He made a great many sacrifices and moral compromises to reach a vision he would never end up seeing.
Any ways, that's how I always envision it in my head. As that makes his character far more interesting and deep than the cardboard villain from the movies.
He was Darth Tyrannus.
As Palpatine would say: "Ironic"
lol
I love Dooku one of my favorite Characters I always felt TCW tv show made him out to be too evil and too much of a pawn they never showed Dooku's internal conflicts or true intentions when it came to his master Sidious after all he did want revenge for the death of Qui Gon Jinn
That would have Humanized him and made his death more powerful
Dooku had a panache Sidious could never control.
This might seem crazy but what's happened to the spellchecker thingy??
david guipre And because it is a kids show thry don't want kids getting too emotional or anything.
I agree, even though the Clone Wars series fleshed his character out, barring a few notable exceptions, they portrayed him more villainous than he actually was.
He was never a man who took pleasure in killing or destruction, just a man willing to do what was necessary to bring about a new age of peace.
In an episode of TCW Dooku was almost brought back to the light by Yoda. The problem was other Jedi showed up which made Dooku believe it to be a trick.
Dooku had his very evil moments in both canon and EU. It's kind of going with the territory as far as the dark side works.
Count Dooku is a politcal idealist, not a murderer.
Grummgar If the guy who wrote that read history. He would know that political idealist go murder happy once they get real power.
True.
Political idealist or murderer, he just didn't have the makings of a varisty athelete.
True.
The Republic cannot be fixed, it is time to start over.
+Grummgar yeah, he would only kill those who oppose him... 😒
Dooku was always the true hero of the prequels.
He was right about everything, the corrupt Republic could not be fixed and it was time to start over.
He was never a true Sith, just a Dark Jedi willing to do what was necessary to save the galaxy.
He knew galactic peace could not be achieved in the happy ending form the republic was going for, he did bad things sure but really when you think about it, they were necessary.
Hell, even palpatine's empire, while horrible for many reasons, still had a better chance of getting actual peace then the rebels who just sent the galaxy into anarchy after their victory, causing a new form of empire to arise.
Stahp speaking in the third person
Burn the false Emperor!
The republic was indeed corrupt, but it was a bit extreme to toss democracy out the window entirely in exchange for totalitarianism. The empire he helped built was exponentially worse. That said though, I still can’t really see him as “evil.” Just a tragically misguided old man.
Very interesting input. Def one of my favorite characters.
What if Palpatine/ Sidious unexpectedly died halfway through the clone wars? Disease or accidentaly blaster discharge/ malfunction, etc? What would happen if the puppeteer behind the clone wars suddenly let the strings dangle and the war went on without interference? Dooku would be left to his ow devices, as would the Senate and Jedi Order.
The Separatists would step up their game, stop being manipulated by Sidious, stop making tactical errors (planned by Sidious), and they would destroy the Republic while they are without a leader
It is true that Palpatine sabotaged the Separatists considerably. The Separatist leaders wanted to focus on spamming factories early on in the war so later on they would have too many droids to lose in battle, but palpatine told them not to do that and instead to try to rush the republic early on, while neglecting the late game. Thus Palpatine made the CIS look dangerous early on by their early gains, while also ensuring they would lose later on.
Agreed, but remember that Palpatine was also feeding the CIS valuable information on the Republic front (admittedly only to serve his own needs). This loss of info could have been very detrimental to the CIS, though I do think it wouldn't be fatal. Dooku and General Grievous would have more tactical freedom to achieve their goals, but less info to work from when it came to actually planning those assaults. The Republic on the other hand would have to elect a new chancellor and the direction he/ she wanted for the war (continue or sue for peace) could change everything.
Indeed, though its worth noting that the CIS didn't really lose the war, not by military force anyway, their entire droid armies were shut down and their leaders were assassinated by some one who they thought was an ally. Theoretically, the separatists could have kept on fighting indefinitely by building new droid factories and endlessly spamming battle droids. The Republic would keep spamming clones, but I assume eventually the Republic, as a democracy, would give in to internal pressure for peace, sort of like how the US gave up in the Vietnam war due to military losses being unpopular with the public. 99.9% of separatist losses would be expendable droids, while 99.9% of republic losses were people, even if clones.
In the EU/Legends he was transfering his essence to clone bodies in order to avoid death by any cause.
Count Dooku idea was probably more practical in the long run
Dooku's vision for a galactic empire would have been a good idea for a star wars movie.
Or a good book series 😉
Please Non-Cannon expert, tell us the tale of Mara Jade.
Vajra_Asura she had a nice ass. THE END
+xXDarkmoon599Xx
Cool story bro!
xXDarkmoon599Xx
You forgot about two very important things about her
Boobs
Honest Happy Hater 3, dat ass
*EXTRA THICC*
Damn, Dooku had some good ideas. An Empire of Man, truly a thing of pure beauty. And more Sith recruitment, to form what is ultimately a Galactic Praetorian Guard? Genius. All hail God Emperor Sheev "The Senate" Palpatine!
I view dooku as more of a dark Jedi then a sith
MultiSplitsecond he was a sith he followed the sith code
Tim O'Sullivan he was a Jedi grey Jedi then dark Jedi then sith lord
Thank You for your explanation my Emperor.
MultiSplitsecond I agree. He was not wrapped or psycho enough to be a sith.
MultiSplitsecond The sith was just a means to an end for Dooku it seemed
I enjoy your videos. The lines "in this video exposé" and the variables "if not for me" jokes. Keep up the awesome content.
His "Fist of the Empire" idea sounds pretty badass tbh.
Dooku's vision of an Empire shares many similarities with Darth Krayt's One Sith and Galactic Empire. Great topic Star Wars Reading Club :-)
I'm gonna say this again and again, THEY NEED TO MAKE A DARTH SIDIOUS MOVIE OVER A HAN SOLO MOVIE!!!!!!! Sidious: a star wars story
So Dooku wanted to re-create the Sith Empire from 3600 years BBY. :P
Dooku pretty clearly wanted to have a Dark Jedi Order, rather than following the Sith Rule of Two. His mistake was trusting Palpatine and being reasonably loyal to him. Had Dooku wholly abandoned Palpatine, he might have actually managed to build just such a force under the auspices of the Separatists and then used it to seize power. There was still something of the Jedi in Dooku in that he believed that he could, or should, trust Palpatine in *any* way.
I'd love to see Dooku and Thrawn working together.
Anyone else?
id like to see it also they would make good team :D
Two bad guys which are actually quite nice
This is the greatest SW channel I've ever seen. So many interesting topics. Thank you SWRC
Did Dooku just expect Grievous to be okay with all of this? 'Cause there is absolutely no way Grievous would just let that slide. I'm pretty sure Grievous would immediately turn on him if he tried something like that.
Chomper Jenkinson Grievous was most likely not told of this plan
I know. I was talking about if Dooku attempted to put this plan in action. I know that if he did, he would probably have to answer to the droid army.
Remember, Dooku would be imprisoned and if the Droid Army just wondered up to one of the most secure prisons in the galaxy, the Republic would surely think "Oh hey! They want Dooku back." and as the regular military wouldn't know the grand plan to create the Galactic Empire.
Commando droid assassins?
I just realized how stupid that sounds. But still, he would face resistance from the droid General. Also, if he did pull off Order 66, not only would the republic by at a severe disadvantage to the droids, how in the world did Dooku expect the surviving Jedi to just join him? He doesn't really have an army prepared to fight off the Generals forces.
So he creates the Imperium of Man? Emps will not be happy.
When the if not for meeee part came at the end, I got distracted by a family member and wasnt paying attention to the video... and initially mistook Grievous for fried chicken...
And now i want fried chicken.
DavidWalker1987 LMAO
This would make a fine addition to my Kentucky fried collection!
It's sounds like this vision involved Dooku serving under Palpatine in the Empire. Are you saying Dooku had no plans to become Emperor himself. I always thought that Dooku's grand plan was to have the Separatist order he created loose the war as it did (blaming Grievous for the atrocities committed as you mentioned). Then once Palpatine turned the Republic into the Empire and himself from Chancellor into Emperor Dooku would proceed to kill Palpatine and thus make himself Emperor.
Rehan Chowdhury Only Pre Suit Vader and The other Skywalkers as well as Galen Marek had the potential to surpass Sidious
Rehan Chowdhury Galen Marek is the worst character in Star Wars. He's such a stupid Gary Stu. He was only created so that game would be fun.
That's why Dooku trained apprentices such as Asajj Ventress and Savage Opress so that they could gain the strength he needed to take down his master (plus kill some Jedi on the side). Furthermore over time and with more training and learning about the power of the dark side of the force, Dooku could have one become strong enough to take down Palpatine himself.
Let's not forget that Palpatine wasn't all powerful in the dark side and that even he had his limits. Plus Palpatine relied more on political manipulation rather than the dark side to wipe out the Jedi and conquer the galaxy.
emperor Dooku sound pretty bad ass actuality.
Rehan Chowdhury Asaj and Savage were used to be tools in harassing Republic operations and taking out Jedi. They, like the other xenos in the Confederation, could be easily used as scapegoats in driving human disdain for aliens.
Imperium of Man.. seems Dooku is huge Warhammer fan
Goran1138 yep probably.
Rest In Peace Christopher Lee
Everyone is Sidious’ pawn.
Dooku's vision was much more practical.
It would have been really interesting if Sidious had somehow died before Dooku did. What Dooku would have done no longer having Sidious to consult is really intriguing to me.
Nice video. Funny how he basically told Obi Wan what was going on lol. Is made out to be something of a cartoon villain in Clone Wars, but he is actually a rather fascinating character. The thing that gets you about his Execution scene is that Palpatine/Sidious looks mischieviously at Dooku when he says "kill him now". McDiarmid is fantastic and Lee as well, gave a real great sense of being alarmed and betrayed, and the forlorn look after cutting off Anakins right forearm too. Didn't require clumsy dialogue or saying anything
Dooku was not only a placeholder for Anakin he was also necessary for the planning of the separatists and clone wars while Maul was necessary to reveal the Sith to the jedi and Anakin was the one meant for the empire Ventress, Grievous, Durge, Oppress, and some others were just meant to be side orders
I wish Darth Sidious, Maul,Tyranus and Vader could have been a team! A Sith Lord faction! Screw Darth Bane and his Rule Of Two!
I like Dookus vision more. His vision is more of creating a New Sith Empire rather than just an Empire.
But Dooku was part of the whole plot to make the Clone Army. Meaning he knew about the fail safe of order 66. So Dooku must have realized that most/if not all the order would be completely wiped out.
Bobby Jones yeah but after Order 66 there were a few hundred survivors. After the continued purging, only a few dozen remained. Instead of purging like Sidious did, Dooku would recruit them.
That sounds like a pretty cool empire
Dooku needs more credit. He's always viewed as Palpatines Puppet.
Star War Reading Club: Thank you for todays Live Stream it was very fun! lol
*HE WAS GOING TO DO WHAT!?!?!?*
Yeah, he would’ve fucked you over, actually, you were always going to get fucked over, sorry buddy.
Ki Adi Mundi: He is a political idealist, not a murderer.
Mace Windu: You know my lady, Count Dooku was once a jedi; he couldn't assassinate anyone. It is not his character.
The fist of the empire would they have been stronger then inquisitors and emperor hands?
In pure military might, they would.
Then again, having an army of trained Sith running around is not something Palpatine would ever have wanted. It would basically simply be a matter of time until one of those sith got the idea that he deserved more, and thus making the Fist of the Empire as much as a threat to the Empire itself as was to anyone else.
Imagine it sort of like the decay of the Ottoman Janissary army, just way more dangerous.
The Empire didn't really lack military might. The Star Destroyers and military could pretty much wipe out all opposition once found.
Well to be fair he could implant inhibitor chips into them when there are still small children insuring obedience to him like with the clones.
Ryno Behnke good point.
Dooku basically wanted to found the Imperial Knights.
Damn, Dooku fell harder than I realized. He went from a true idealist who cared about the welfare of all to an aspiring tyrant who's vision for the empire would actually have been far darker and more horrific than Palpatine's Empire ended up being. Actually sounds like Palps did the galaxy a favor bumping Dooku off when he did. Then again it was Palpatine that turned him into that monster.
I really like Dookus plan, it reminds me a lot off the Sith Empire during the Great Galactic War. It has a vast army, it has many Sith at its disposal to fight for the empire and to uphold the Empire. Sure some may say the Rule of two was superior but I tend to disagree, I feel if the Sith Academy only took a certain amount at a time (E.G. The strongest in the force during Peace Time) and iff a war comes to fruition recruit many at a time and let them sort it out so theres not always a power grab. Honestly if this came to be I feel5 like the Galactic Empire would still reign dominant and crush the Rebellion with ease. Having an army is one thing, but having Sith warriors and inquisitors not to mention Sith Assassins to accompany it would make it oh so much more powerful.
he lost his head over his aspirations
Dooku was such a wasted character. His appearance in the movie was very bland and dull. His best moment was how he got killed.
Abd Clone Wars Dooku was a arrogant old prick who was really unnecassary.
Dooku should have been the one to wild a purple lightsaber who gave up on the Jedi order (a little bit like his apprentice, qui-gon) and lead the opposition of the Republic. Not a Sith. A good guy who had a different point of view. Manipulated without his knowing by the Emperor. He could have been a way to personificate Anakin's struggle who did doubt the way's of the Jedi and Republic as well.
He supposedly was a quick replacement for Jar Jar, who originally was one of main villains of the prequels. However, due to the universal backlash of his character that idea was scrapped lol.
DevilHunter6666 Dooku was epic in the clone wars.
No idiot, Maul actually made an importance in the Star wars the Clone wars. So comparing him to dooku is very bland
Papa Anakin nah
In the movies, but over all, he plays a very big role if you expand using the series as a whole
Awesome video as always!
This was very interesting!
I wonder how Star Wars would have been different if Dooku's vision was what had happened.
Thanks man!!! :D
If only Plagueis had selected Dooku as an apprentice In the first place instead of Palpatine. Did Dooku plan to build his Sith Army from the ranks of his Dark Acolytes (had they not perished during the war)?
What rank/title would Dooku have held in his Empire if Sidious was the Emperor?
Darth Marder Dooku wasn't mad at the Jedi when Plaguis was alive, he left after Qui Gon's death
Dooku was A hero. He would have brought this galaxy to order!
If not for me.... *Grievous on fire* For scapegoats. XD
Can u do a video about the trade federation?
I will definitely see what I can do, as there are a lot of interesting aspects to the Trade Federation. Thank you for the support as always. I always appreciate you taking the time to comment. :)
Awesome and you're welcome and I do love these and especially at the end, some were funny lol
That ending freaked me out. I was looking at the Yu-gi-oh card "Scapegoats" when he mentioned the word Scapegoats...
Force sensitive much?
Amazingly Amazing as usual.
Dooku's vision was the smartest and best out of any possible outcome. you can't get the happy ending peace the republic or even the rebels wanted without doing a couple bad things that they weren't willing to do, but palpatine did far more bad than necessary. so really, Dooku had the perfect in between idea.
hey what's good SWRC... This is a good entry right here... I already knew a few things about post Dooku's history past the Clone Wars, however I did not know about the possible Sith team called "The Empire's Fist". that shit sounds like it would've been ill. . real business yo... but unfortunately, Dooku's whole position was compromised right from the start. he was designed for failure right from the rip, & things eventually played out very much to the pleasing of Sidious, the true hardcore Dark Lord of the Sith. .he def was that real phantom menace from ep. 1 feel me?.. . not Maul. Not Plaguis, bit Sidious a.k.a. papa Palpatine.. Lmao!.. . . that empire fist would've been some cool shit tho. ... .
I just realized that this guy's name is Dooku, be we've all been taking this seriously the whole time
If I were Sith, I'd agree with taking as many surviving Jedi as possible and turning them Sith to form a Sith Order that enforces the will of the Empire BUT I wouldn't agree with making the Empire into a Human only club since many alien races were on the side of the Republic so if they or at least individuals from those alien races proved their loyalty to the New Order, they shouldn't be excluded from serving it. If those alien races proved themselves loyal to the Empire, I'd support rewarding them for their loyalty.
I'd support the exclusion of the pro-Separatist races like the Nemoidians and the enslavement of the Geonosians though. Also, if certain alien races like the Mon Calamari were opposed to the Empire and tried to break away from it, I'd support crushing them to make an example out of them to show that defiance will not be tolerated.
He is one of my favorite characters. He was against the corruption in the Republic and the Jedi Order and just wanted to make a clean up.
Dooku actually had a very very clean idea of the empire, such a good idea for the sith army
This actually makes me feel bad for dooku
Merely a way to get Anakin..? Dooku was a genious, A tactical horror to face and a master swordsman. As ruthless as they come. It is mostly Dooku who laid the groundwork for the Seperatist Alliance aswell as laying the base for the Clone army. As a politician he was superb, carving appart politicians with words as finely as he carved appart Jedi with his Lightsaber. He Personally trained Grievous whom would be responsible for the death of many a Jedi. While Sidious was in the dark it was mostly up to Dooku to orchestrate the symphony that was the Clone Wars. There is no figure who aided Palpatine more in establashing the 1st Galactic Empire asmuch or aswell, as Dooku
The interesting thing is that we never see Dooku, a Sith Lord albeit throw away one, with yellow eyes, this is because he never truly committed to the Dark Side, and that his overall motives, whilst not overly good, were also not completely self-serving, so in a way you could say his ideals went astray quite a bit, hence Sidious capitalizing on that
Yep Dooku was pretty much a decoy. Good video.
I don't believe Dooku was anti alien. There is little proof he ever was to my knowledge. Dooku as explained is an idealist.
To understand Dooku is to compare the person modeled for his character, Christopher Lee. Obviously not by his personal life but the roles he has played in mostly referencing Lord of the Rings with Sarumans downfall combined with the fashion of high class nobility and cruelty seen in Dracula.
Dooku hated the Republic for its corruption and stagnation. He also left the Jedi Order because he was tired of their pacifist ideals and lack of utilizing their powers to change such corruption in the galaxy which is why Darth Plagues and Darth Sidious targeted him to turn to the Dark Side.
He may have wanted to own his own Empire as he intended to betray Sidious during or after the Clone Wars but that does not determine his philosophy or beliefs for or against aliens. Dooku was an ambitious man who valued those who could be resourceful in his ideals whatever they may be. He also may have been a great deceiver but he was also a great politician and a refined strategist. Such individuals can always be extremist in their actions as well as beliefs but it also requires him to understand and respect foreign ideals. If he ever didn't show such understanding then he would never have been able to convince half of the galaxy into civil war or even have tidings with mysterious powers like the Night Sisters.
Darth Bane created the Rule Of Two because during the days of the Sith Empire the Sith were so busy killing each other that they couldn't get anything done. So if Dooku did create a Sith army it probably would've been a bad idea because Sith crave power and don't like to share it. Unless Dooku finds a way to keep them all in line.
Well Not all Dooku's plans were destroyed the Empire did became Xenophobic and seemed to punished the aliens associated with the CIS
And Dooku's vision of Jedi serving Empire did live on in the Inquisitiors as some were defected Jedi
One of the biggest mistakes of the Jedi order was allowing narcissists to grow in their ranks. And the greatest narcissists of them all was Count Dooku. Being good at telekinesis or using a lightsaber doesn't makes you a great Jedi, and Dooku had eveithing except one of the prerequisites of the Jedi teachings: humility.
"Posturing individual performance is what counts, no the achivments of one's clan.""Clan bonds makes betrayal cut all the deeper.""The existence of the Jedi service corps weakens the order. Expelling initiates with low potential would improve our public standing.""Hops and cartwheels are for the rabble. A count of Serenno doesn't need tricks, only a swift demonstration of superiority."
This are some of the annotations from Dooku himself on the Jedi Path book. This man had a very big Ego, and a big ego, just like fear, is a very powerful pathway twards the dark side of the force.
Love your vids man, but a better mic would do you wonders.
Alien who's rich: (Exist)
Dooku: Oh I don't think so
I find it puzzling that the interest in force sensitive children was only for count duku. It appears to have been somewhat of an interest with palpatine as well during the clone wars tv show. Or was that just a feint on the emperor to fool his fake apprentice. Seems foolish
Gmail com ok, because the video left me thinking that it was solely duku that was seeking them.
Empire of man? PRAISE THE HOLY EMPEROR!
All things considered Dooku's plan is somewhat better than palpatine's (Assuming he lived the battle that would canonically be his death and Sidious decided at least to temporarily go along with Dooku's plan). If force sensitive children were molded into the fist of the empire odds are anything like the Death star wouldn't be destroyed. The failed assassination against sidious would be the perfect point for dooku to be released as he would be viewed as the one who foresaw the jedi betrayal thus his time in the separatists is explained. And in all likelihood Anakin would have actually gladly accepted the role of commanding general (Be it as a part of his quest to protect padme from death or simply out of his hunger for more power and recognition or his twisted view that the Jedi are now evil). The fight between Vader and obi wan on mustafar would have been altered as Dooku would have also participated in some sort last ditch attempt to convert the apprentice of his apprentice (However I think Obiwan would still not turn and Vader's unbridled rage would lead him to killing or maiming obiwan much to the dismay of Dooku). Padme would have either never been choked due to some shift in vader's temper or Dooku intervening out of respect of Vader and to keep Vader on his side or would have been recovered by the new empire, Thus Leia and Luke would inevitably become apart of the fist of the empire and would likely be trained by Vader himself. The jedi would likely be more intimidated as now they had to deal with at least vader and Dooku, leaving Yoda to be basically the last remaining jedi. (mind you people didn't know who vader was at first due to his drastic physical change in cannon, since the battle on mustafar would have changed that would no longer be the case and he would be recognized as skywalker throughout the galaxy.)
I do feel at some point Dooku's views and and Sidious' would clash and Sidious would be dethroned. I say Sidious would be dethroned as in cannon he quickly shows his disregard for Vader as where Dooku would show him respect. This would make all the difference as Vader would be the commanding general of the fist of the empire. Sidious would put up an amazing fight and kill most of the lower ranks of the fist of the empire, but time would surely have passed and Vader would have grown to be at least as strong as Sidious and Yoda as Sidious foretold before his encounter with yoda. In almost no time Dooku would be hailed as the new emperor as he was already an influential politic and a liked one too boot. It's hard to say what would happen to yoda. In the original timeline the line of right and wrong was very clear as to who was evil. In this timeline I expect yoda would spend alot of time reflecting on the changes that would have occured and perhaps the empire discovers his location and is confronted by Dooku who was his own apprentice, He may very well join the empire. However that is a slim outcome. Yoda despite being a very reflective character has always been firm in his ways and would force dooku to bring the fist of the empire down on him.
He was the hero the galaxy needed, but not the one it deserved.
What do you think would happen if Dooku served Palpatine in the Galactic Empire?
This seems like a reupload. It looks familiar
Jesus, Dooku was more of a Hitler than Palpatine himself.
Notification Squad! Thanks for the new video! Watchin it now ^_^
Hi R2D26, thank you for dropping in! I hope that you enjoyed the video and I definitely appreciate the support. :)
Dookus vision for the empire is a hell of a lot better than the empire we got
Nice vid
So did Dooku throw the fight against Anakin in the beginning of "Sith?" From what you say, he was planning on surrendering, and his look of shock at Palpatine ordering his execution seemed genuine. I thought it was because he was in shock that his boss had decided that Anakin would replace him without telling him, but now it seems that the shocked look was Sidious deviating from what they had discussed and ordering an execution instead of mere capture.
If only if only the woodpecker cried..
Dooku's vision of the Empire is basically a less genocidal version of The Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40k.
I'm surprised Dooku looked down on aliens, considering his background, you would think he'd have respect for them.
Lane Brunkhorst Maybe there were a few exceptions
A what if series for star wars can explore this concept.
Would have been badass if Dooku had survived. Vader could have run the military and Dooku could have been Prime Minister or something of that nature and controlled the political aspects and police forces/some kind of gestapo/stasi kind of thing.
I read the book. That was Sidious' vision. An all human Empire.
and then his head rolled... ouch
Dooku confirmed to be Emperor of Man. I guess this incarnation tried to form the Imperium a bit too early
Ignorance rebel? That sounds real familiar.
studinthemaking ignorant rabble means basically dumb peasants
dooku also wanted to complete obi-wans training
I feel bad for grievous
Was there any conflict within Dooku as to what he was doing? Could have been brought back to the light side if someone have put in the effort?
Count Dooku vision was a Force central authority over a Separatist confederation; which was manipulated by Sith into darkside galactic empire
We are all guilty of seeing and believing what we want, but Dooku should have known better.
100k otw
Scapegoats FTW.
This is Canon for me!
I'm I the only guy who feels sorry for Count Dooku? He was shafted by both the Jedi, and by Darth Sidius. OK, so he wasn't perfect. But I do understand his reasons for his disdain for the Jedi, who honestly weren't so squeaky clean themselves.
Dooku was...somewhat right on the empire. The inquisitors, human ruled empire, pretty close enough
Darth Sidious (Palpatine) wasted a perfectly good apprentice when he goaded Anakin to execute him.
I Love Dooku
