My 97 does not look like that either... I can hear the blower motor running strong but any air barely comes out the vents, it's not a problem about cold air but not having enough air blowing...
Why did you change the blower motor.?? My 2003 the Ac ll be blowing nice and strong then it stops for few seconds stops completely and then it blows again..

Can you spray anti corrosion on resistor?
