This is 1 hour of several hikes on the Buffalo Plateau in Yellowstone National Park. This video has a lot of wildlife in it. This is a great video to watch will exercising.
Ive been watching your vids for a couple of years, and mimicking some of your hikes, especially in the taylor fork drainage. One of my goals was to find brown bears on foot, on my own terms. My first 2 trips to greater yellowstone, I came up empty. In june of this year after seeing signs of bears in the taylor fork area, but no bear sightings, I was down to the last day of my trip, and headed for buffalo plateau. When i got up on the plateau, It looked like the markers were missing, and I didnt feel comfortable pushing forward. I was about to abort the hike, and I thought id come up empty again. In one last attempt to scan the area for markers, I saw a large animal chasing a small animal, and pinning it to the ground. Then the small one chased the large one. I realized i was watching a sow playing with a cub. It was an awesome experience. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.
I was up at the Taylor fork yesterday and saw some fresh grizzly tracks in the snow. If you keep hiking you will eventually see some close up. That is why it seems like I see a lot of bears. It is because I hike a lot. Thank you for your comment.
Also, I like that little wapiti trail a lot. It's a nice, proper hike, with constant change of landscape. If you're ever unsure where to take a hiker to show them around , that's a good one to default to. If you care for my opinion. The meadows are so nice.
Oh my! Love this, Stan. I haven't tuned in lately to see your posts, and just found this. It is such a great one. Mild weather up there a few days ago. The wildlife and their noises, ya gotta love it! Thank you again for sharing!
I love your videos man, so gorgeous. I did a backpacking trip in the thorofare last august it completely fell in love with yellowstone. Gods creation is truly beautiful.
That must have been a great trip. I went to see if you had a video on your channel about it but didn’t see one. But I can see you are a great adventure! Thanks for your comment.
You know Stan, this may be your best video yet, (even though I love all of your videos, don't get me wrong), but, I love those phenomenal close ups, so clear, so awesome and truly incredible! 😍🤗🖒🖒👏👏👏👏👏 HAPPY Thanksgiving to you and your family Stan! ❤ your friend, Didi 👵 🖐
most excellent Stan. I wish I was better at distinguishing between wolves and coyotes. Unless you tell me otherwise, I'm gonna bet they were all wolves.
Stan, great videos, as always. In older videos, you use to list the equipment you carry, especially video/camera equipment. Please post what is your choice of camera you prefer while hiking. Thank you, I'm in the market.
That video had everything. Flowers and scenery were beautiful but the wolf interaction was awesome.
Great video as usual. I really enjoy the videos and the messages. 👍
Gorgeous. Thank you Stan. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. 💜🎄
I watch all your videos but this one is my favorite. So much wildlife and the scenery is beautiful! Good job
I am more of a rower Stan but I love your videos no matter what you call them 😂 thanks my friend! You just made my day better!!!

I assumed they'd be in hibernation by now. Do you ever hear wolves in Taylor fork?

Yes, lots of wolves in the Taylor Fork area.
Thanks for the inspiration and bringing such beauty to the masses!

What are those beautiful purple and yellow flowers? Love your hikes.
Such gorgeous wildlife!
Thank you, Stan for the wonderful video. Amazing wildlife-- and the audio added another dimension--with the wolf howls and the meadowlarks.
Wow. Great video Stan. Thanks so much. I was glued to the wolves staring at you. I'm surprised that there was no snow.
Fantastic video Stan ! Great Footage ! Thank you for the 1 hour brain vacation !
Terrific hike
You out did yourself on this one Stan.
A great silent adventure with nature. Unbeatable. Thanks, Stan.

Wow, That's some great film work Stan! Thankful Yup
Hey Stan, love the video!! Just want to ask, have you ever seen a mountain lion in Yellowstone?
I have a dead one in one of my videos. Have not seen a live one. Seen tracks once.
Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. You take me places I'll never get to!
Absolutely a great video. One of your best. Thanks
You Stan are literally standing on top of the world! 😄😉
Superb bear images and stunningly beautiful scenery. Alun

Gorgeous Wolves, wow, so elequint!
👍😎🇨🇦 Just awesome!!
🗽 For me that is very normal, to be quiet in the nature and to respect all animals.
.
Love the part of the video were the wolf howls. Sounds so mournful.

I still use a Canon SX70 HS and a GoPro 10.
Thank you, Stan, and have a great Christmas! @@StanMills
This footage is unreal, wow. Stan have you ever run into a cougar in yellowstone?
I have not. I do see tracks once in a while. I do have a video on Slough creek in the winter where I find a dead cougar.
@StanMills oh wow! I'll check it out :)
these are such great videos. Thank you for sharing them. What lens are you using to zoom in real close?
I use a Canon SX70. Thanks
@@StanMills awesome. And you're welcome. Looking forward to more videos in the future.
Beautiful country! Was this shot earlier in the spring or summer? Doesn't look like November in Yellowstone.
What's a treadmill walk? Staying on path?
Watch while exercising on treadmill or something. That’s why it is one hour long and made up of previous videos.
