    Very well-rounded review, and loved the time lapse and the final specs comparison!

    Great video. Bought one on the last Prime Day, works great.

      That is great to hear! It is a solid choice for simple vacuuming and self empty!!

      @CleanChef I was all over the place but it was mainly between a 'vacuum only' roomba or whatever brands were out there. I am new to the game so I did a lot of research yesterday. There are so many models! I noticed the roborocks got all around good reviews and the Max+ was on sale and checked the boxes, so I went with that. It did it's first run yesterday and we were very happy with how much it picked up between the carpet, rugs, and hardwood! It's not terribly loud either, much quieter than the Shark upright I have. Great vacuum and thanks again for the great video!

    As for your comments inferring the Q5 max+ increased dust bin capacity (mostly) eliminates manual emptying, because I have to manually empty my filled to capacity Q5+ dust bin up to 4 times when vacuuming my 1st floor (we have 2 dogs and a cat) every other day, I believe the increased bin size would still require me to manually empty the dust bin at least 2x before it's ready to self-empty on its own. In any event, I will still have to be present to empty a filled bin since the machine lacks the ability to self empty until the job has finished or a recharge is needed. That's just an observation, not a deal breaker since more capacity is welcome.

      Yes great point! Thanks for sharing! You need 2-3 vacuums on your first floor ha!!

    Greetigs. Nice video. Do you know if the bags for the dock are proprietary or if standard ones can be used?

    • @VacuumChef
      @VacuumChef  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not proprietary... just make sure you buy bags for this vacuum that will fit size wise! But it can be generic or knock off bags again as long as they are made for this model!

    Can we use the dock without a bag?

      Yes you can!

    In your opinion, does this one perform better than the iRobot Roomba Essential 2?

      Absolutely! No brainer!

    I just hit the "buy it" button for this unit a few minutes ago. Should show up Tuesday. Your critique makes me feel good about my choice. I wonder if I could use a long nosed hemostat to empty the bags? I've been doing this with my built into the wall unit for years. Dusty and messy but that fits me to a tee.

      @VacuumChef  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah you could if you wanted to reuse them! Fingers can get alot of the big debris out too!

    How does the mop add on work on this?

    • @VacuumChef
      @VacuumChef  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Great question. So the mop add on would be very basic as it will just drag the wet mop pad behind the unit. Better than nothing but not as great as their dedicated dual rotary mopping systems. Nonetheless it is nice to have the option for ~$40 to add mopping functionality to this robot vac!

    Basically a Q5 Pro+ without the mop pad and water tank.

      Yup basically lol
