I’m discovering the game has a lot more depth to it than originally meets the eye, particularly with the new B99 build which introduces a TON of new features. Heaps more explorations to do :)
A suggestion for the air hoses: You can crouch (with CTRL) underneath the buffers, get closer to the hoses and connect them that way. If you're not using realistic mode, you can switch to free camera view with F3, press ALT to activate the UI overlay and connect the trains from there.
@@NinaFelwitch Welcome! Thanks so much for the suggestions. You’re perfectly correct, I mixed up X with CTRL so probably wasn’t getting the best view to connect the air hoses. Great detective work! I’m excited to give that a try in my next Derail Valley adventure.
Hello! Stumbled across your video (and therefor your channel) and enjoyed the video, a suggestion that's worth considering is testing locomotives you've purchased in sandbox mode, to get a feel of how to operate them and grasp their controls, the other locomotives, especially the steamers and the DM3 are quite hands-one.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it, and welcome aboard! Yes, that’s a great idea, I love steam (even simulated) but have seen that it may be quite difficult to juggle everything whilst trying to haul a load, so thanks for the suggestion! I’ll definitely give that a shot.
Hello Grandpa! I love Derail Valley. Awesome seeing new people discovering this game.
