maybe i missed this, but I think this is still going to cause problems in the future, he uses what looks like a glue when he puts the chrome drain back in, but I think he is supposed to use Plumbers putty under the rim of the chrome and as he tightens it, it presses out and makes the important seal you want against water. i think the glue or if that is caulk will be worn away in a few months. water running over it and other harsh bathroom cleaning materials causes this. I do like how he covered and fixed the rusty hole. I just need to get my drain unscrewed, I have the same tool, but can't get the drain loosened.
So , hey man i dont have to go get bondo and all that crap. I can get jb welding. And how long does that last? And after its sanded, what do i spray the white bathtub with ? Like just white rust enamel? Its s steel tub

Looks great. Thanks. I see JB Weld currently has a waterweld stick. It's blue. Would this be a better option or the same? Any thoughts?
If i use it to patch a leaking chemical steel or plastic drum, after or before the glue is dry, will this product caused any chemical reaction ?

How long did you wait after you applied the silicone to install the drain cover?
