the axe is for dominant back slot and it can be equipped in a back slot. it’s even faster to throw when in a back slot. turn on head aim. this will give you a small white square in center of the screen, simple but effective.

Kind of disagree about the axe the game even tells you that it’s good for range attacks but for melee attacks it’s weaker than the sword. Once you get the ability to turn the sword into a whip It becomes a deadly mid rage weapon. Another thing by constantly keeping your weapons charged up you’re losing the ability to use some of your special purchased abilities which require you to be at level three charge to use.
almost certainly axe should be on the nob dominant hand, as you can use sword in close quarters and simultaneously throwing axe in background. Also followers are much stronger in humanoid form and all the special abilities, spells etc are only work in that form.
@@rightfulkingbob6753 it's story driven, you get them (along with higher tier materials like iron ore) after completing saga II. Mainly I've got them for completing main quests but have also found one in some random hard to get chest. What I don't yet know (and honestly came here for in hopes of learning) if it's at all useful to upgrade weapons/armour of Abraxas when you get new hero. It's definitely useful to drink a potion bought from Bes to take all skill points from previous hero and assign to knew one (it's pretty cheap so you can rearrange SP fairly regularly even trying different builds).

Btw if you want to use all your skill points on a single guy but want them on a different guy later the potion of emptiness is your best friend, it removes all skill points from the guy you give it to and lets you use it for different things, it does cost around 900 hacksilver though but you’ll only really need it like 3 times or so and in later game that money is just one wave away

Biggest hack few people know: equip the second scword you get as a preorder bonus in the tower... That way you can play dual whield and will do about twice the damage
if you have not seen Cosmic events, they give you early on additional primordial weapons that have elemental slots so they are much better especially when you start Saga III and all your weapons are weak as hell but you can equip that weapon to your right back slot
One thing I’d recommend is that if you throw a weapon rather than trying to bring it back to you reach for your weapon slot and grab it the weapon will appear.
I don't understand how to get back to the story mode. I played through the first Egypt part. then I go to the inbetween. At the inbetween I can play the rift, where I fight a few enemies, then die, then I'm back at the inbetween. it seems like an arcade game where you're just trying to get a higher score. Or I can go to the Egypt marketplace. How do I get back to the actual story?
@@queenjaki it should take you back to the last place you were in the story mode then you can open up your quest menu and look at what your next Quest is. You can even open your menu and fast travel to the closest point to your next Quest

I can't figure out how to use the revive potion to revive followers. I have it in my hand. Do I drink it? Pour it over the companion? Can't figure out how to actually activate it. Any help? Thanks!
Figured it out. Easiest way is to go into the inventory grab it, and then turn to your right (still in menu, still grabbing) and point and release on the follower.
Great video tips. I seem to be waring RA armour or something and therefore crafted armour doesnt seem very good. was this some bonus I got with the game? thanks
I don't know the exact mechanics either, but I do know that energy builds up over time and on the bottom right of your display by the health bar sometimes it says one or two or three indicating levels of charge and it's slowly builds up over time, I think with kills or damage that you've done.
They have their own special powers to heal you or help during battle. Forgive me as I'm still learning as well but to use them you can add them from your inventory into your belt by physically grabbing it. The belt is a great way to access potions and your aids
Throw them to the ground to activate them. I found this out by accident as I went to pick one up but had it too lot to go into inventory so dropped it on the floor.
How can I upgrade my sword to have the whip feature. It seems I need this to be able to get to some of the treasure chests but I cannot seem to get it done.

Anyone have an explanation for the armour stats - I missed an explanation for the elemental stats of the armour and their significance - do they indicate resistance to a specific element or increase the damage against that element? For fire enemies should I be equipping armour that has fire or water?
Resistance (at least early on) is only applied to your wrist armor, shield axe and sword have damage stats. When you open inventory there's enigmatic circle fire-wind-earth-water , that tells you which elements are weak/strong against each other. For example dealing with fire foes you want fire on the wrist and water on everything else, that way you also will be gaining back divine protection on hits
search in the tutorial section. it’s all about block/parry incoming blows to expose the enemy weak points. it’s better to lvl up 2-3 things in the start, don’t go for the fancy stuff until later in the game. better to level up follower as well. VERY IMPORTANT: When or if the enemy has red glow on the hands or weapon before it strikes at you, MOVE!! it’s a deadly blow and you can’t block it anyway.
I was hoping youd say something about levels and how to gain experience. Im pretty sure if an enemy is 2 levels higher than you, youll only do 1 dmg to them per hit. Ive been dealing with this all game and its super annoying. The only thing that gets me through is the spinning blade that hit for 1 dmg really fast.
well it’s actually about training/learning the brain how to handle the motions from the game. the more you play, the less comfort you should need. at the end it’s something you forgot you had in the start. I threw my self a couple of times on the couch in the start. cold sweat and close to throwing up…
Charge weapons by raising them above your head for a couple of seconds, and you can heal on Battle by pressing the pause menu and chugging some potions or eating food from your item menu
Been playing this for hours, still have no idea how to know which relics to use when. Where does it tell you what an enemy is weak or strong against. It’s not in the bestiary which would be an obvious place. There’s a LOT of stuff in this game that’s never explained.
About the weak points, they only appear after you hit that enemy sometimes. It appears as a glowing multicolor spot that only lasts for maybe 5 seconds. Usually the enemy is stunned and sits there with a glowing spot on their neck or wherever. But they're not visible most of the time.
Can someone help me so the area with the giant scorpion and where you open bridges and learn to redirect your sickle, after the boss fight it won’t let me continue because the button is “already pressed” but the bridge haven’t opened

Hi, great video! actually I have a question maybe you can help me with I’m wondering is there a way that you can get your followers to go away? I know how to bring them to me, but I just want to hack and slash without a follower. How do you send them away?
@RedDevilVR all the time, but I find I use more of the whip to close the gap and slash away. The axe on the right back makes throwing that feel super fluid also, so it's normally in play for range. I find I neglect the sheild mostly, I think it's a bit restrictive feeling.
@@hraefngraves4845 Nice so youve got a a variety kind of build. Personally I prefer to throw my weapons as my primary method of attacking period I would equipped two axes if I could. There's just something about being able to throw your weapon and recall it that I love especially if it's capable of being pretty accurate
Couple things that don't really make sense from your tips in regards to the axe. As another comment mentioned, they straight up tell you that the sword does more damage than the axe but the sword whip also is used 10x as much as the axe for the game. Not only do you use it to swing all the time...but you also certain enemies are INSANELY easy when you use the whip such as any of the flying enemies. Additionally, I don't know what you are saying with regards to not being able to equip the axe to your back...mine is equipped to my back right side so I just pull it from my back over my right shoulder. I feel like your recommendations with the axe are going to make players lives much harder. Obviously to each their own and if it's easier for you, you do you...but it's just missing out on a lot of functionality that makes the game and combat much easier.
That’s an infield fly, batter out, runner can stay or try to advance at his risk. Umps should have called this right away, should restore runner to 1st on this intentional “drop”.
In this game you get companions that can help you. One in particular helps you fight battles in her humanoid form and then switches to her mount form. :)
A little disappointed by your "early builds" advice... I was at least expecting a "don't spend on this" or "I do recommend spending on this." Otherwise super useful info thanks!
Basically the point is is you can play online or offline, but you're able to send resources from your online game to your offline game and that it doesn't matter which one you decide to play first. However playing online first met make the storyline easier even though he said it on a lower setting it's pretty easy already
@@kevindonovan3887 the rift mode is considered an online mode simply due to the randomly generated dungeon that you need online in order to access yes it's single player online but it's still a feature you need the internet to access. In addition you get daily login rewards similar to other games

Axe can absolutely be placed in a shoulder slot.
Axe on right shoulder, shield on left shoulder and sword on hips is my go to setup.

Maybe it’s just me, I’m not ambidextrous or anything but throwing there axe with my left hand as a secondary hasn’t felt too bad imo

True, but when the weapon is flying back to you, it can do damage on its return trip as well. Especially valuable if you missed the first time.

If you are in the rift mode just find the giant reflective portal that shows like a mirror and then walk through it

Same...i think you only can charge up after youve dealt a certain amount of damage. Read that in a reddit but not 100%.

But how so you move the axe like that? Is it a skill? Like using a skill point or do you use the right t and then the lt to bring it back?
Moving it in mid-air is a skill that you can acquire addition You Can level that skill up to add damaged trails and other perks

I have my axe in my right as im right handed but still equip and sheath my sword with my right hand because thats how swords work lmao

That's crazy for some reason every time I tried to equip my axe to my back right shoulder it just wouldn't let me
