Great session I've had a few back in the day with mate Bob staines up by the cross waters. I used tea bag cut down the middle for my cart and keep the tea to smoke any cod I catch tight lines 🇬🇧😎👍

I tried the same trick with the cart, we were just hooking them on the hook as if baited on a hare/dongle rig and the few bites we had all resulted in lip hooked fish, only small stuff about on the night shy biting but they worked a treat when the bigger baits didnt, well done on your session, im sure i seen you that night was walking the dog along top of golf course shining headtorch down, and having a look at thd hole at south end of beach

Always put the fish in the fridge and fillet the next day so you can check the fillets for worms up against the light once the skin is removed

Nice fish mate ,, isn't that a coincidence your heading to Arbroath 😂,, your right to do plenty of research first and to get the best from it wait for a decent easterly it can be very moody at times and would usually take some local expert knowledge to get the best from it it can also be pretty dangerous if you don't know the place but all that said if you catch it right it can be unreal ,, cheers 👍

Make ur cart in to sausage with ur woman tights l use cockles and l make them in to sausage with woman tight and it hold on to the hook well..
