I’m heading down there on Saturday or Sunday bro. That’s the best thing about dunstanburgh you can put your gear down and fish all day without having to move anything. And the water is a good depth too. I’ve seen some good dogfish be pulled from there.
appreciate it Andrew. you'd be right, ive fished freshwater for as long as I can remember but only properly got into sea fishing just over a year ago- bait fishing just since summer. I love all fishing. cheers for the comment 👍🎣
Some days are hard especially if you trying to catch cod. Just keep at it and you’ll will get some for sure. I do prefer fish after sunset for cod, definitely get more than through the day. Also if you get one whiting then you going to get more of them. They always come in numbers. Looking forwards for another video and tight lines mate! 🎣
cheers for the info korch. very valuable advice. I will be giving cod fishing a go at night soon. got myself a floodlight so it willl make filming possible. tight lines to you too when you can get out 🎣🎣
thanks, it can be tough loosing so much but its always worth it if you can get on a couple of fish. believe it or not I was binge watching your channel last night. great content on there ive sent you a sub over 😂👍🎣
@@anotherangleUK ive been up a couple of times this year. most recent was a mark just south of catterline. I think it was Todd lighthouse to be exact. I love the look of the coastline up that way. didn't get any fish on that day unfortunately
@@UntouchedFishing good look for tomorrow I’m going to do some harbour fishing on bait for pollock coolie and the odd codling at Whitby good look for you mate
@@UntouchedFishing Hopefully will get the all new to fishing Sku Style lures to you very soon. I managed to put a 5/0 hook right through my little finger whilst in product testing on one, I tried to get it out but no luck so had to visit hospital. No fun but lesson learnt! 🤣
@@SkuStyle I am seriously looking forward to it. There will be a full video dedicated to them. that's almost impressive 😂 ive had many hooks in me over the years but never anything close to a 5/0. I hope it's not done too much damage. make sure not to clean the hook, that's some premium lure stink right there 😂
cheers for the advice, I need a decent flood light for filming. no one is gonna watch a video made from a crappy £15 headtourch from screw fix 😂 if you recon it will get me more fish, im up for getting one 😂🎣👍
@@UntouchedFishing It's a nice walk across the field but can be very hairy if the farmer has bulls in it, worth a look first. I'm not saying there's no fish here but there are far far better marks. You'll see most locals fish off the beach especially the rocks.Anglers are attracted by the deep water, but as you saw so are the dolphins and large seal colonies from the nearby Farnes.
@@davidoldboy5425 funny you say that, I did speak to an angler who was fishing the beach that night. he didn't get cod but said he had 15 coalies. if I do go down ill give the beach a shot.
Agreed. One rods a pike fishing rod. 40lb braid which doesn’t cut it. It can handle big fish but means I can’t throw weights out over 5oz. Sonic sks black works well though. 60lb braid 7000 real. 14 foot rough ground rod. I’d get a pair if I had the funds 😂
Terrible set up for dunny like. You need rough ground stuff with rotten bottom set ups. Whiting is easy in the north east fella 10 a penny. best off using mono from sown there, you can get away with braid from the top of the cliff as it avoids the line going across the rock! Also wrong bait for cod there fella, worm or squid with cart would be best.
yeah one rods not ideal. its a pike set up, 40lb line and can only chuck 5oz leads out. handles fish well however. good call with the mono. I think a rubbing leader at least would help. I'll be sure to give them baits a go. cheers for the advice 👍🎣
Keep at it, you will be rewarded. Love your enthusiasm and nice to see I’m not the only one driving 2+ hours one way 😂
cheers again harry, ahah nice to know im not the only one either. tight lines mate 🎣
All the effort is brewing for a mega session soon, another vid another success and another class watch
ahah yeah its got to come at some point.... hasn't it??🤔 appreciate it mate, pleased you enjoyed 🥰

cheers mate, yeah im not sure ill fish it again for a while, trying to find marks with more fish and less tackle loss. cheers for the comment 👍

Fished the mark all night not a bite went down to craster harbour one cast 9lb cod left of habour wall .👍
Great effort!

mate your gear is way too light for this kind of fishing. It was not even rough those days when you fished.
