I commend everyone who watches videos like this for being seekers of truth. I of course am in this same group. I have discovered over many years of being a student of the bible and also a seeker into other religions, at least on a surface level, an interesting idea. That idea is the following. No matter which set of religious documents we study. They can be Christian. They can be Jewish. They can be Hindu. They can be Buddhist. They can be Muslim. They can be any religious flavor we choose. They ALL were written and rewritten by HUMANS. We humans are fallible. We make mistakes. Sometimes on purpose, sometimes innocently. We commit errors. We just do. We can't deny the reality of that. I read comments of people who bash the bible. There are people who bash the Gnostic writings. People bash Jewish writings, people bash Hindu, Buddhist, and Muslim writings. I have learned that there cannot be any ancient writing that can be without error because of the fact that they all were written and rewritten by humans. There is something written in the bible that I have learned to apply and that I recommend to everyone searching truth. 1 Thessalonians 5:20,21 "Do not despise the prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good" When I first learned to apply this idea, It helped me to have an open mind to the truths presented in religious cultures found around the world. I find it to so sad that people find it so easy to discard the whole bible because they find something they don't like. I see others doing the same with the Gnostic scriptures. They see a verse or two that they disagree with and discard everything else . They each have truths that we can gain some level of value from. If we find something that we don't perceive to be truth, we are not obligated to accept it. We can just move on and learn what the rest of the scriptures say to us. I just hope we can all relax as we continue our quest for truth. Thank you. Blessings.

I'm an occultist and it's my belief that nothing is true and everything is tolerated. My issue with religion is the dogmatic and cult like behavior. Also, I'm descendant of the witches that were burn so that trauma still lives in my soul. I dont hate any religion or belief but I do hate dogmatism. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. There is a mistake about there not being a central authority in the Christian church for the first three centuries. The 15th chapter of the book of Acts tells of the council of Jerusalem in which Simon Peter told them all that they must not require Christians to be circumcised. If not for that decision, the church would have been split asunder in the first century over circumcision.

    • @MichaelForrestChnl
      @MichaelForrestChnl 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

yeah but that council and most all the followers of Jesus died when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70AD. Thats when true christainty died out and the false version that Paul invented took over.

Reading the books of the New Testament, we probably asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years?
The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. In this world, the great fertility of atheism can be explained by the fact that there is no main opponent of critics of the Bible - the Church. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist.

As for why, first of all it's entirely inconsistent. Which is their primary defense. No matter what I say about gnosticism, that can be answered with "that's not real gnosticism". Even if it is something the gnostic just said.
It's entirely rhetorical. Gnostics base their arguments on things that sound cool and deep regardless of the actual implications of those statements.
It's selfish and elitist. The central idea is that most people are too stupid for enlightenment, and so it's a waste of time to explain it to anyone but inductees

Gnostics reject the gospel because Jesus became flesh John 1:14 “The Word became FLESH and dwelt among us and we have seen his glory as of the only Son from the Father full of grace and TRUTH”
Gnosticism at its root is says physical is evil and the spiritual is good. But not all physical things are evil and not all spiritual things are bad. Procreation is good, love for a neighbor is good, submitting yourself to God is good. The earth and grace a God who creates beautiful things and we admire his creation. The material world is created by God, how can he create something evil? God made beings with the ability to choose right from wrong good from evil.

One can search, contemplate, study, etc. for a lifetime and not ascend. All this study can come to naught... and therefore a wasted life results. It seems a bit too much to expect mankind to ascend on his own merit. Therefore, it appears to me that simply living a good life with good morals should be sufficient to the soul who wishes to enjoy peace and happiness.

Neither christianity or gnosticism followed the teachings of Jesus because Jesus always said that the way to heaven was being obedient to Judaism and by being a generous person concerned with helping others. Christians who followed Pauls teachings taught that the way to heaven was faith/belief (although James contradicted that), and gnostics taught that the way was via enlightenment. I side with the gnostics and discard the other two teachings.

NOPE! Jesus said: “I am the way and the truth and the life." Trusting and having faith in Jesus and obeying His Gospel is the only way to eternal salvation in Heaven. Hell does exist and is forever for all those who do not accept Jesus and have faith in Him!
      READ THIS PLEASE!
JOHN 14 Jesus Comforts His Disciples
14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Jesus the Way to the Father
5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will knowmy Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

The origin of Gnosticism is the Ancient Afrikan Egyptian school of Ma'atism.

  • @andra.mac68
    @andra.mac68 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

The Gnostics were a spiritual movement that existed in times of antiquity. Gnosticism, a philosophical school of thought, is based on Gnosis, or "knowledge," which is an interior spiritual experience, a profound psychological occurrence, and a life-changing event that very few people will ever get to undergo in their lifetime. Gnosticism is largely misconstrued and poorly understood, and the Gnostic movement and their writings receive a great deal of negative appraisal. Because the experience of Gnosis has never happened to them, ignorant and uneducated people completely overthink it and misunderstand exactly what it is. They miss out on something that is entirely beyond their comprehension and instead conceitedly opt to use polemics and harsh criticisms in some foolish attempt to refute it. The very foundation of Gnosticism is this interior spiritual experience, which manifests from the unconscious element of the human psyche, and it is this interior spiritual experience that preoccupied the Gnostics. Gnosticism is not something that you can realistically choose to believe in; the interior spiritual experience of Gnosis is something that happens to the individual and cannot be taught; rather, Gnosis "chooses" the individual. The pioneer of analytical psychology, Carl Gustav Jung, believed that the interior spiritual experience, which offers consciousness, insight, and awareness of the actual aspects of being, is the greatest resource for humanity, so he highlights its importance. Gnosticism has nothing to do with adherence to any particular religious dogma; Gnosticism is not, or attempts to be, a belief system in its own right; and Gnosticism is certainly not a heresy. Gnosis is simply an inner experience of the soul, and the Gnostic codices are ancient manuscripts that relate to and symbolise this interior spiritual experience.

True, that is why this particular teaching/practice isn't for everyone. There will always be a majority of the population who, to put it a bit crudely, will serve as breeders to keep the species going. Thus the relatively few who take on celebacy as part of the total life effort of seeking higher truths need not trouble themselves over that. Most people won't understand it, and that's fine. I've long since stopped caring what people think about the fact that I'm always single and have no kids. At this point nobody really cares anyway. :)

It is good to learn heresies. Otherwise, how can you know how to refute them, or see how they are actually right and tradition is wrong? I have definitely noticed somethings I agreed with, and somethings I disagreed with. The best idea is that knowledge from God is required, and this knowledge is secret or hidden. I suppose the worst was the celibacy, which is a left over of the Venusian cult that entered Catholicism. There was no Jewish tradition of celibacy for priests (tribe of Levi). It was totally fabricated and has no Biblical basis.

Lucifer was right though. Eating the fruit did give Adam and Eve the supposed godlike ability to have a sense of right and wrong. Also God said they would die from eating the fruit, which technically could be claimed to be true, but it's put in such a vague sense as to give the impression that it would be immediate. So even if you want to use that technicality to counter the fact that God lied, it would still be a half truth at best.
The most important difference on display here is that, between God and Lucifer, only one of them felt an entitlement to being listened to unquestionably and without explanation. If Lucifer were really as prideful as God claimed he was, wouldn't he be the one more likely to act on that sense of entitlement instead of god? An earmark of a narcissist is to preemptively scapegoate someone else for your own flaws. Funny how God jumps straight to labeling pride the original sin before displaying that exact flaw, but looking at this in context of early Hebrew religion, this makes sense. Yahweh was only one God among the larger collective within the Elohim, yet he demanded to be set apart as being above all others. This is where biblical interpretations branch off of. And would you know it, this interpretation resulted in the demonization of other deities who essentially stood in the place of the various cultural sun gods(ever wonder where Lucifer's tilte of "light bearer" comes from?). For example, early Roman Christians would refer to the god Apollo as "Apollon Luciferos" and gave a similar title to his sister Diana, showing that Lucifer, if he were ever meant to be a singular character to begin with, was being used as a catch-all title for anyone who threatened the title of Yahweh as being "the alpha and omega". Lucifer was first conceived of in the bible as the original scapegoat, and if it were the case that Yahweh was actually the deity of pride, who would be a more likely original target of this demonization than the true demiurge? God even borrows the more sympathetic implications of the scapegoat title to describe his son, which is also a part of himself. This is textbook victim playing and is another earmark of narcissistism. It would appear as though "Lucifer" is not as much a self identification as it was simply how the biblical God maliciously and jealously referred to the demiurge. Looking at other biblical stories through this lens makes them make a lot more sense. The temptation of Christ is simply the demiurge("Lucifer") saying, "prove you are who you say you are", and making offers of power in exchange while letting this imposter's pride reveal itself, knowing full well that his arrogance cannot let him bow to his competition. The responses of "Christ" come off as incredibly weasely in that framing. Or how about the story of Job where God is goaded into destroying the life of his favorite follower to prove a point to Lucifer. Ask yourself why the all-powerful creator of the universe would ever feel the need to defend his pride against the lowest of beings and why he would stoop to using the suffering of another as a pawn in this pissing competition, regardless of whether or not he was planning on repaying Job for his troubles in the end. This is exactly the petty behavior you'd expect from an egomaniac rather than from the holiest of holies...
So here's a challenge to you. Ignoring the lies told by God(the story of Abraham and Isaac to name just one), try finding a single example of Lucifer/satan/the devil telling a provable lie within the pages of the Bible and then ask yourself what he did to earn the title, "the father of lies". Is it at all possibly that you've simply been duped, like millions of others(myself included at one point), into thoughtlessly coming to the defense of the true spirit of pride? What does your fealty to this deity actually feel like? Do you have a reflex towards immediately rejecting the notion that your God is fraudulent? Does that reflex contain fear, guilt, or even a sense of sunken cost? These are some red flags to watch out for.
For the record, I'm personally not religious myself and don't believe in Gods or devils, but I do still believe that you are what you worship regardless of whether or not it exists. Your religious behaviors, so long as they aren't forced, will always be symptomatic of your personal psychology.

@@p1vettel546 I respectfully disagree. I believe that act of experiencing is universal and only your thoughts are local. However neither truly belongs to any individual since there is no "free" will, only Will. Your brain and nervous system furnishes the experiencer with qualia, but the fact that this process is constructed in such a way as to form an executive function doesn't imply the sort of ownership which we intuit as true autonomy. There is choice, but it will only ever exist as a reflection of our preexisting desires, and so it is never "free". The more we reconcile our own nature with the sacrifice of our presumed autonomy, the more our our desires will change and the more our actions will reflect non-egocentric principles.
The universe experiences our being, but our being mistakes itself for the experiencer. This mistake is the original sin of pride.

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for the sins of heretics and schismatics and those of the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on heretics and schismatics and on the whole world.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on heretics and on the whole world.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of heretics and schismatics, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen.

In his confirmation that Cabbalists founded Gnosticism, the famous historien of Freemasonry, Ragon, reports that: " the Cabbala is the key to the secret sciences. The Gnostics emanated from the Cabbalists."
Dean Milman says in his "History of the Jews" that the Ophites worshiped the Serpent because the later had rebelled against Jesus", to whom they referred using the Cabbalist expression of the Demiurge.
    E. de Faye in his work "Gnostics and Gnosticism; as well as Matter in his mentioned work "History Of Gnosticism", both assure us that another secret Gnostic Sect, Cainites on account of the cult in which they worshipped Cain, represented the latter, Dotham & Abiram, the homosexual Inhabitants of Sodom & Gomorrah and Judas Iscariot himself as Noble victims of Demiurge, i.e. of the malacious creator of our Universe according to their perverse teachings.
Apparently, these Gnostic sects where the forerunners of the Bogomils, of the Luciferians, of black magic and of certain small satanic masonic circles, which all part, apart from rendering homage to Lucifer regarded as good everything that Christianity holds to be evil and vice versa.
Voltaire ( Pinnochio Freemason) himself regarded the )ews during the middle ages as the spreaders of Black Magic and Satanism.
The Marque de Luchet reports in his famous work "Essai sur la secte de illumines" that the Cainites, incited their hatred towards all social and moral order, "called upon all men to destroy the work of God and to commit every kind of infamy."
Arianism, the great heresy which split Christianity over three centuries, was the work of a concealed nose man, who outwardly, practiced Christianity but was set to destroy it.
Throughout the Middle Ages the )ews were the advocates of immorality, revolts, Infiltration of the Catholic Church and of the nobility of Europe and became eventually the scourge of our Planet.

    A clarification for PHILO-notes.
I am an Albanian citizen. This means that Albanian is my mother tongue.
Fortunately for you, God brought your video before me.
The material begins by trying to find the etymology of the word "gnostic".
You, wittingly or unwittingly, instead of lighting up, create even more darkness.
Your problem is similar to the problem of all those who want to enlighten but do not know the ALBANIAN LANGUAGE, that is, the language of God.
I am giving you an opportunity to understand with a concrete example the messianic role of the ALBANIAN LANGUAGE by simply explaining the etymology of the word which, like all other terms, is etymologically derived only from the ALBANIAN LANGUAGE.
With small letters I will mark the term, with capital letters the etymological word in the Albanian language.
For ease, a short but most important explanation is needed.
The Albanian language works on the basis of embryomorphemes,
Embryomorphemes in the Albanian language are short words consisting of only one syllable, or only one letter (unique in all languages of the world)
To explain the word gnostic, we must divide it into embryomorphs.
    "gnostic" ="gno"+"stick"
gno= NJOH, like the word "know" in English or "conscere" in Italian
stick= SHTI=FUT=FSHEH, like the word "hide" in English or "nascondere" in Italian.
So summarizing it turns out that we are dealing with a hidden knowledge, meaning which includes the whole concept.
You have failed, through your etymology, to include in the explanation the entirety of all the elements.
The conclusion is that you continue to be on the wrong path, continuing to obstruct the understanding of the truth.
I'll say it one more time. If you don't know how to speak and write the ALBANIAN LANGUAGE, you are impossible to explain at least your name in its true meaning.
It's not the end of the world that you don't know Albanian, but after that it's a sin that you don't come to Albania or Dardan land (Kosove) to learn Albanian.
After that you have to apologize to all your followers for the obstacle you've caused so far and then to continue to deal with your affairs.
    One last clarification.
In the laboratory language (programmed in the basements of the German idiot King Ludovik) spoken today in the Hellenic Republic, the Albanian word NJOH corresponds to the word "zero". I believe you have learned the meaning of the word zero?
You are welcome to learn the Albanian language, I will personally take care to find you a good teacher.
    Final clarification.
There never was an ancient Greek language.

You use the spiritual life to understand the physical and vice versa. But moral law comes into play there because there's spiritual good and spiritual evil and gnostic practice is ignorant to this fact which is why they're going into dangerous yet real territory they aren't prepared for and it can lead to their eternal demise. The spiritual world is very real and we ourselves as humans are spiritual beings in physical vessels but this life is temporary but our final destination for our spirits are eternal

@marvalice3455 Now, instead of sounding like an @sshole, you could try to atleast be polite about the subject of other's faith. Both Christianity and Gnosticism are fairly unique.
Some of the things that make it unique are,
      Emphasis on Personal Spiritual Experience:
Gnosticism places a strong emphasis on personal spiritual experience and inner knowledge (gnosis) as the path to salvation. Unlike traditional Christianity, which often relies on faith in external doctrines and authorities, Gnosticism encourages individuals to seek direct communion with the divine within themselves. This emphasis on personal experience can be empowering and deeply transformative for those who resonate with it.
Rejection of a Harsh Creator God:
Traditional Christianity teaches the existence of an all-powerful, judgmental God who created the world and humankind. Gnosticism, on the other hand, often posits a different view, suggesting that the creator of the material world (the Demiurge) is a lower, flawed deity responsible for suffering and ignorance. Gnosticism's rejection of a harsh creator God can be seen as a more compassionate and nuanced perspective on the problem of evil.
      Inclusivity and Rejection of Dogma:
Gnostic traditions tend to be more inclusive and open-minded, accepting a wide range of beliefs and experiences. They often reject rigid dogmas and hierarchical religious institutions, promoting individual spiritual exploration and freedom. This can appeal to those who value religious and philosophical diversity and autonomy.
      Mystical and Esoteric Wisdom:
Gnosticism is known for its emphasis on mystical and esoteric knowledge. It offers seekers a rich tapestry of symbolic and allegorical teachings that invite contemplation and deep exploration. For individuals drawn to the mystical and transcendent aspects of spirituality, Gnosticism may provide a more fulfilling path.
      Reinterpretation of Biblical Stories:
Gnostic texts reinterpret many familiar biblical stories and figures in unconventional ways. For some, this reinterpretation can offer fresh perspectives on familiar narratives, encouraging deeper reflection and understanding of religious themes.
It's important to recognize that both Gnosticism and traditional Christianity have their strengths and weaknesses, and individuals may resonate with one or the other based on their personal beliefs, experiences, and spiritual inclinations. This argument is not meant to assert the superiority of Gnosticism over traditional Christianity but rather to highlight some aspects of Gnosticism that may appeal to certain individuals seeking a different approach to spirituality. Ultimately, religious and spiritual choices are deeply personal and should be made based on one's own beliefs and values.
Instead of calling it "Cringe" Like a 10 year old would do (or 30 year old on twitter) try to appreciate things and share love and kindness. Calling something cringe, is in itself, pretty cringe "bro"
