As a hardcore seeker of many years, I would suggest you look for all the answers INSIDE, by getting in touch with your inner awareness. You are the divine creator being, do not sell yourself cheap for some false promises as you will end up being lured into the religious mess. Seen it too many times!

    I think it's worth mentioning that Jesus did not come here to start a religion. Any thoughts one may have about how man handles his relationship with God is certainly different. Why so many denominations? Your walk with Jesus is a personal one. It's so personal it's nobodies dam business but your own. What you choose to share is also personal. In the end, it's just going to be you and God. Nobody you listened to about god will be there to defend you. You need to decide what is true and what is not.

      You are absolutely correct, Jesus had no intention to create a religion. Based on what he received during his formative years, between the age of 12 and 30, in India, Persia, and Egypt, he was teaching against religion and was very critical of the sacerdotal class.

    This made sense to me based on what I already knew before watching the video. The Gnostics are the true torchbearers of Jesus real teachings. The original Christians would refer to those who have created today's Christian religion by the appellative 'Adversaries.' The adversaries of genuine Christianity, which was a school of thought and not a religion, have betrayed Jesus and his message from the inception of the today's Christian church. The main reason why that happen was that Jesus was teaching actually against religion. In the Gnostic churches women were receiving the same consideration med did. They were very active in the debates, and as even Paul acknowledges in one of the texts included in the Bible, with him too being a Gnostic, women were often leaders of the community, respected teachers.

    • @jonathanlr4167
      @jonathanlr4167 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @sorellman this view is not historically supportable. Gnosticism arose later when Christianity came into contact with Greek culture. Gnosticism was an ahistorical appropriation of Jesus christ by people whose worldview was based on neoplatonic philosophy. They just superimposed their existing beliefs onto Jesus. Paul's gospel creed in 1 corinthians 15:1-5, is acknowledged even by critical atheist Bible scholars as dating from within a decade of Jesus' death, probably within a couple of years. This creed verifies early belief in the atoning death and physical resurrection of christ, proving that this was the earliest and original Christian belief. The full teaching that biblical Christianity is based on was in writing before 70 Ad. By comparison there's no evidence that any gnostic " Christian " writings existed before the middle of the 2nd century. Academic consensus agrees on gnostic gospels as pseudopigraphical , dating to 2nd ,3rd and 4th century. The new testament writings are the earliest and most widely attested witness to the life and eachings of Jesus. This isn't in dispute. There's a lot of misinformation on this subject.

      Christian doctrine is known as Pauline theology. Saul/Paul never met Jesus and admitted that he had no clue what he taught. That's why he just made stuff up. Jesus' disciples were so incensed at Saul/Pauls lies that they angrily confronted him to cease and desist. [This is why he fled to Greece]
      Saul/Paul was called out as a liar so often that he leaped to his own defense by saying 'How can my lies be a sin if it furthers the glory of God?' [Rom 3:7] Lying for the Lord is seen as perfectly acceptable by far too many Christians over the years.

    • @sorellman
      @sorellman 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@paulgrey8028 Paul was not a church theologist. Most everyone knows today he was a Gnostic, and that when he abandoned Judaism, he abandoned religion all together. Jesus too was teaching agains religion, and despised the sacerdotal class.
      You have no idea what the verse quoted by you is saying and why is there. Paul makes the case agains the very thing you try to pin on him. This is the complete quote:
      "Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?” 8 Why not say-as some slanderously claim that we say-“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!"
      He makes a point by proposing a hypothetic situation, and his argument is, that even if your lie "enhances God's truthfulness," it is justified to condemn that: "Their condemnation is just!"
      The emerging church, also know as the church of the Adversaries of genuine Christianity, the church of the "holy lying", which is precisely what Paul is criticizing here, hated Paul with a passion, the same way he hated Jesus and Mary Magdalene's message, for exposing their corruption and their ignorance.
      Other than that, Paul did not flee to Greece, as you claim. He went three times to Greece to do missionary work on behalf of the Gnostic school.
      You must be a Catholic, or someone who is running his own religious scheme. Your comment is a collection of vile lies.

      @@sorellman ah right, so you believe that every other Christian has been deceived and only your version is correct. Sad and quite delusional. Just like your interpretation of Rom 3:7. It's very straight forward what Saul/Paul is saying; "So why are my lies a sin if they further Gods glory" but I guess since it's a free world you can pretend that it means whatever your fantasy dictates I guess.
      That you think that truth is "vile" speaks volumes.

    Modern christians don't understand that the dozens (or hundreds) of different types of christianity resulted from Jesus being fully happy with Judaism and never giving rules and beliefs for a new religion. So their version of christianity evolved from the easy-believism that was catholicism which focused more on the teachings of Paul than the teachings of Jesus, Gnosticism was one of the earliest forms of christianity that was for deep thinkers and truly spiritual people, not the hypocrites that gravitated towards the popular forms of christianity.

He believes Jesus' quotes should be interpreted from a non-dualistic perspective and makes excellent observations in his research and comments. When I deal and read about the holy, I do not believe everything I've learned. I think of things in possibilities, it's possible. Just because I may not believe it, I rule nothing out. Because I didn't live thousands of years ago, so I don't know exactly what went on back then. I'm 68 years old, turning my life over to God In 2014. I've had many miracles in my life since that I cannot explain. I have been plagued with disorders since I was a kid. I do not have seizures anymore, I am not bipolar with severe deprssion any more. I beat diabetes! My mood is always steady, I am not moody. I'm in control of my emotions! I can tell because my dogs and cats respond to me well. They are happy animals because I am happy. I am much better with animals! We walk 7 days a week, and I do a variety of other exercises. My doctor says I am in phenominal health for my age. I'm probably her star patient! I do not follow man's religion, I follow God. I observe the Lord's sabbath day which is Saturday. And it all seems to be working out well for me so far. I feel good! The only thing that depresses me is what is happening in our country, America at the present. And you all know what I am talking about. I think we are witnessing the battle between good and evil. Anyway, good video! I'm always up for learning new ways of thinking. I have an open mind! But I am not easily deceived! May many blessings fall upon you all.😇

    Along with thus being the more intellectual satisfying 'grown-up' version of what we know, aspects of Gnosticism tantalise with a spiritual appeal which integrity leaves me no choice but to explore further despite the fact that I have, up to now, been pretty comfortable in my own skin in this regard.

    Spiritual enlightenment is an egotistical path of self-importance aimed at the seventh heaven. Conversely, the satanic polarity leads to the lowest layer of the heavens. The middle path that focuses on following inner guidance from the divine wholeness located in our hearts is the ultimate path of love. It's this middle path that leads to inheritance of the Earth to explore the full blossoming of love in the physical realm. The divisive nature of the physical realm was introduced intentionally to push humans apart and make us into individuals who can find out how it feels to meet a mysterious other. That process has led to our discovery of love which has become the most important aspect of interpersonal relationships, thus love will be the focus of the new and final era of this magnificent adventure of multiplicity.

      Hermes’ ancient Emerald Tablet is the origin of alchemy, astrology, and theosophy. Over centuries many renowned people translated this legendary tablet. Sir Isaac Newton’s translation of this remarkable tablet begins as follows:
      1. Tis true without lying, certain & most true.
      2. That which is below is like that which is above and that which is above is like that which is below to do the miracles of one only thing.
      3. And as all things have been & arose from one by the meditation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation.
      That One resides in the heart of everything including all human hearts. By simply dropping into your heart and letting go of this physical illusion, I and many others have experienced full samadhi, aka enlightenment. The extreme upward path is a lure that keeps big egos from discovering the inner wholeness that is the infinite One. We are all tiny parts of that magnificent One who resides within. Humility and surrender are the keys. Conversely, striving toward one polarity leads nowhere.

    Good outline of gnostic belief, nothing to do with the historical Jesus though. The gnostic gospels were written centuries later. They're mostly fictional conversations put into the mouths of "Jesus" and the apostles as a vehicle to teach preconceived greek/ roman gnostic ideas (eg. neoplatonism). Unlike the canonical gospels they have no historical credibility or evidence to support their authenticity. The claim that they represent a serious challenge to Christian doctrine or the nature of early Christianity is misleading.

It was necessary that he embody this same physical process in each of us. Simultaneously, it was crucial that he fulfilled numerous Judaic prophecies to signify he was the messiah, the Christ.

    Mary Magdalene is an expression of Sophia, and is the 13th. This places her and Jesus in a very significant place relative to the twelve. They are part of a distinct cycle of awakening. It is not surprising that she witnessed his resurrected body before the others and it was all 13 who beheld the vision of Christ's transfiguration, the most important event in the entire story. And yet, the Catholic church rarely mentions or depicts this astonishing incident. It holds the key to the entire Christian doctrine, the divinity of Jesus Christ, the holy spirit, and our emancipation from death..

    The Gnostics. I first read the Nag Hammadi in 1987. Gnosticism comes to us through ancient Thracian mysticism. Their level of ignorance regarding women, the Greeks, with their Thracian ancestors, worship of snakes, dragons, and love of all things male, would blame the imperfect universe on a feminine element. Uni, meaning one, is the name of the Etruscan great Mother goddess. This name is directly related to the Mitanni name Juni...Before light is matter, then sound, then light...even in spiritual matters. One can have human life with just one X chromosome...One cannot have human life with only one Y...The universe of this type of physicality and biology, was meant to be placed of learning, where the less developed and complicated can develop. Adam, Male/female, came to bring agriculture, grains,...so that the animal man could leave his lower beast self, and bring a purpose grounded in God's representative purpose, for the biology, the living. Because it is hard, it was never meant to last forever, this school of life. Eve made that bridge possible...Gnosticism bias against the holy female divine, should only be relegated for the female gods over war, prostitution...or a castrated Phrygian, Thracian goddess whom the Romans adopted, Cybele.

      @@dy6682 Nag Hammadi is the name of the place where the scrolls were discovered in 1945, not the title of a book. There is Robinson's Nag Hammadi Library, published for the first time in 1977. The rest of your comment is an incoherent word salad. Related to that, your nick is very, very funny. By the way, the Gnostics were anything but biased against the "holy female divine." After all, they were venerating Sophia, the Mother of the Living, the bearer of divine wisdom and of the feminine spirit in general. She was also considered Jesus' twin, when not one with Jesus, the Bride of Christ.

    The first sentence of Genesis is, "In the beginning God (Elohim) created the Heavens and the Earth." Today the astral heavens are known to have seven or more layers, each of which could be considered a universe. Meanwhile, the Earth wold correspond to the physical universe making a total of 8 universes.
