Nice series re-run. I believe that owning a K-31 opens your eyes to the "Crap" that we have available today. and ammunition? that GP-11 is some of the finest to be had. (Other than hand crafted). Peace Bro - Dave
Hiya Dave: I must say I have to agree with you. But to be honesty I think a guy would be hard pressed to do handloads that are any better than the GP-11 stuff. If I had access to as much GP-11 as I wanted I probably wouldn't even shoot handloads through my K31's. Good to hear from you again. Be cool, don't drool and have a great day Dave.
Had my K31 for over five years now . Only ever fired 20 rounds of GP11 out of it. Grouped quite well at 100yds from memory? That ammo is as rare as hens teeth here in the UK. You guys across the pond seem to have gobbled it all up haha Lovely end product by the way 👍
Jealous of what is freely available to you guys state side. Powders primers and bullet heads are very difficult to get hold of here in the UK. Will get a lot worse I recon? ps The troop tag on my rifle says it was issued to a Koch,Hugo 32, 1045 Zurich Rifle is stamped 1943. @lencac7952
How well do you find the Cerakote lasts over time? I’ve seen a few of your K31 rescues…so hoping to see an update on an older one to see how well it aged.
It's actually very durable. However, it does have a lot to do with how well the metal is prepped. And my guy that does the CeraKote is OG and one of the original factory trained CeraKote techs. So he's the best. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Absolutely astonishing work of art from the hands of the master !
Thanks David. Your kind words and taking your time to watch means a lot to me. Much appreciated 😊
A Work of Art........... 👍👍👍👍👍. have a good weekend MB.
Thanks Mega. Glad you liked it. Seemed to shoot pretty well too. You to man have a great weekend.
@@lencac7952 , how much for those sights 500 bucks ??
Hey Mega: I think the St Marie diopter sight mount and the Gehmann diopters were more like $750 )-:
@@lencac7952 , thanks........
Nice soundtrack and a good restoration, well done.
Hi mag: Sorry I missed your comment until now. Nevertheless, a belated thank you (-:

Blimey! you're in the UK. GP-11 is pretty scarce here to so I use what I have very sparingly. Thanks burville. Much appreciated.
