I'm always the first to lose, and the last one to get it back. There are only 4 houses on this transformer, so they really don't worry about us. Bless you hon, sending prayers for you.
Unacceptable not gonna name my state, but they hired out of state tree cutting company’s to make sure trees were cut back and when the power lines got to my yard, every thing went under ground.
When IOWA Had the Duracho in August 2020 it took a Whole Month, it takes a LONG TIME to restore Power they are Working around the clock Thousands were without power, And Utility workers from Several States came to help
The _reason_ it's taking so long is because _Centerpoint was not _*_prepared_*_ for even a cat 1_ and they should've been. They should've had the trees serviced prior and the extra manpower already here. More _importantly_ they should've at least _had a plan in place_ and they did not. They had trucks and workers from out of state _sitting around_ with their thumbs up their keisters _waiting_ for orders because Centerpoint was still arguing _how much they were going to pay them_ 3 - 4 days _after_ the Beryl hit. We had warning. Centerpoint didn't heed the warnings and left us all in the dark. So don't tell us (while you're sitting in another state with a power grid that _is not privatized)_ that "it just takes a long time after a storm." That's BS. This _isn't Iowa_ dear.
Many Prayers Needed😢😢
