I dont understand People complaining about a bad stage design.. I mean look at it! Its whole temple-like structure, 3 Dimensional, and with beautiful lighing options. On the first glance maybe a huge Wall may seem more overehelming, but I need to say that I am very impressed and satisfied with this stage design.
I still can't believe what happened that night. Even one week ago, I am still speechless and can't put myself into a normal life again. Q-Dance, you made an awesome show. Lasers were next level and even though the stage was minimalistic, it was unreal and just right for the atmosphere. I cannot wait to attend more of your events, specially Qlimax! See you next year!

This was my first big event(alone), and the first ever hardstyle fest, so maybe is that why i dont understand most of the people shitting on it, for me was absolutely insane and I will bring with me those memories all my life, and thats probably the most important thing. Thank you Q-dance for that Amazing night!!!

I am a bit disappointed by the track choice for the aftermovie. There were many more powerful tracks that night. Incredibly great footage as always!

In my opinion, the choice is pretty good: mystical, oldschoolfeeling, and powerfull with amazing melodies.
I dont like aftermovies with only euphoric or only raw tracks. But here, yeah, here is everything fine.
Agreed. Anthem should have been cut (we already saw it). next dimensional world, zombie, aftershock, our church, immortal... lots of great tracks that outshined many chosen for the aftermovie

Thank you for this spectacular night. It is beautiful to live it one more time. This year was really on an other level. The crowd was insane, the sets and the atmosphere were matching and creating the best of the Qlimax feeling.
Every year is different, calling you to the next edition from the moment the Q-dance jingle resonate in the Gelredome.
It was such an amazing night! Thanks to all who were involved to make this night unforgettable!
"As the galaxy aligns, in the darkest days of the year" Turns out that during the Winter Solstice (aka "the darkest days of the year"), Earth, the Sun and Saturn will align... ("the galaxy aligns", which is clearly shown in both the Trailer and the Anthem video) Whats so special about that? That this years stage design clearly resembles Saturn, especially when you see the Hexagram star like thing on the center of that "ball" decoration thing itself, it resembles the Hexagon of Saturn (a star-like shaped cloud on the North pole of Saturn)
All this stuff has something to do with the so called 'Saturn moon matrix' (Some REAL deep complicated stuff to search into tho(Google it i would say))
This shows what effort and especially what type of research Q-Dance did to come up with this theme...
i think q dance should release some kind of story before qlimax each year, so people know exact meaning of stage, would be good idea i think. ofc without spoiling stage :D
Great to see that someone as well understands that Qlimax is not just a show with bunch of lights in random shapes. How its said in begining - its a occult ritual. Occult means hidden knowladge so q dance will never release translation before show - you need to understand it yourself. I have tried to decode all qlimaxes buy my knowladge is not big enough to decode it all - it goes so deep....For those who want to understand what qlimax is about i recomend to study sacred geometry, kabalah, freemasonry, satanism, tarrot and nature of reality in general.

Now I wasn't there, but it seems to me a lot more scenery would be welcomed. And lasers. Can't get enough lasers on a Qlimax stage ;)
Sometimes less is more, and this was an epic themed stage
Maybe from afar and on screen, it might seem very empty
But when you were there, the stage was very very fitting for the theme
It really gave a mysterious vibe, it also still gave me chills
It really had a temple feeling, it just felt good
The visuals on the globe, the moving ring and pillars (with screens) gave a good atmosphere and epic show
The stage was great, but the left and right side was waaaay too empty. And I agree, needs more lasers!
Looks like Q dance have been reducing their budget significantly for Qlimax. Looks like we could be loosing Qlimax sometime in the near future
Lol, where do you get that theory from? It's the flagship of hardstyle. If there is one party I am sure of to survive, it will be Qlimax.

This was an amazing edition of Qlimax! Unlike others say I loved the stage design, it really had the Temple feeling. The sets were phenomenal too! I only got to hear the stream, but damn they were nice. TnT brought their classic a-game with the classics, DBSTF had some breathtaking atmosphere, Wildstylez with the unreal anthem and a fun set, Tweekaz one meh (the sing-along was cringy, but Jagermeister was a good one), NC/Atmozfears with a great set as expected, Decent Frequencerz set, UNBELIEVABLE Phuture Noize set, banging SZP set, good ol' G4H with their raw and a fucking crazy ass N-Vitral set with kicks and BPM flying all over the place.
Compared to former editions, this one did seem weak, but it was pretty good imo

I think exactly the same. It is true that the stage wasn't so espectacular and dynamic than other years, but for me had the feeling of a temple. As for the sets, my opinion is just as what you said. I understand that there are others who don't like it that much but for me was a night to remember. I hope that next year Q-dance do a more dynamic stage like 2016, but I really loved the music I heard this year

Stopped listening to Hardstyle a long time ago. But from time to time it's great to come back just to see how the community is going. One thing that surprises me is just how DBSTF recognizeable that track at 4:15 is. I actually thought those two had left the scene.
