This is the video that introduced me to hardstyle in 2017 via a TH-cam recommendation, one of the best things that ever happened to me. Still get goosebumps today. No other genre makes me feel the way Hardstyle does...
I personally think this is the best set at Qlimax even if some people hated it because it was too "happy" and melodic.

i agree with everythign you say but i have to say Qlimax is a dark themed event. i was disappointed that they dident finish with with some harcore

Very few of the euphoric/melodic part of hardstyle keeps to the mystic/dark theme even on qlimax.
The theme and the anthem keeps the same but the music evolves and is now more or less everywhere on the scale of happy/melodic -> dark/raw
This is a serious question: Do you really think they are creative? And atmosphere is also something different for me. They produce so generic tracks, basically the radio-music of Hardstyle... Jägermeister, Tequila, Vodka, Frozen, hanging tree, game of thrones, komon, tweekay, thhey all have no deeper meaning than just taking a popular theme and making it a hardstyle song. This has nothing to do with creativity, but more with "how to please the biggest amount of people".
I like tracks like us against the world tho....

So much hate. The theme was 'Temple of light', if it was 'Temple of darkness' maybe then it would be unsuitable. You need both light and dark tunes to really appreciate the different styles of hardstyle which ultimately is what it is all about.

this set makes me nostalgic. I have a tradition on when i do psychedelics i love watching qlimax videos. I started to go into a bad trip once and i thought "hey some qlimax vids should mellow me out" and i put on this set. I went from 0-100 real quick. I was so damn happy and energetic during this set. After it was done i sat on patio with a rum and coke and enjoyed the rest of the day. Was beautiful.

A real DJ is focussed on what he should do, make music but they both are more bussy with clapping hands, jumping around and other crap. The music is good but man, if you perform for such an audience you should at least play live.
